Wychwood Riot Carp Rods

Bought this rod to fish the margins for carp as well as stalking. Robust, light and have no complaints. Looked at other makes like Shimano which I have purchased in the past with no complaint apart from the price comparison compared to rods of equal quality for less like this Wychwood 9ft rod.

These rods are well finished and perform well as all round carp rods for distances up to 100yds.Ideal for the beginner, they cast & play fish well, excellent value for money.

I brought this not understanding what it was really for and decided that it wasn't what I wanted, although there was nothing wrong with it. Sent back for refund which the seller was happy to do.A word of warning however if you are thinking of returning this or any other "long" item you'll struggle to find a courier to take it as it is over 1.2m long packaged. MyHermes took it in the end but really they could have refused or charged lot more more.

Great stalking rod and good action. Caught a 15lb Catfish first time used.

Love the cork handle bit softer than expected but look really good used these a few times and found them to be good quality
