Culpitt 8" White Masonite Cake Board, Strong Round, 4mm Thick, 200mm, 8 Inch - Pack of 5

These are the best boards, particularly for tall cakes. The board doesn’t stain with coloured buttercream so I dirty ice my cake on a ganache plate, but can refrigerate and then transfer to these for decoration which prevents any damage to finished cake as you don’t have to move it to another board. The board covering is easily wiped with kitchen roll and supports my 6 and 8 inch cakes that are 7-9 inch tall, I’ve even stacked to tier cakes on them and they’ve held strong.

I love that this Masonite cake board is thin but super sturdy and very very strong, and can withstand heavily iced fondant cakes. It makes the cakes have a bit more of a professional finish as apposed to a fondant covered board with ribbon wrapped around it. My only issue is the design on the board….I really don’t like it and wish that it was just plain card with no design at all….apart from this it’s a good buy. The price is really reasonable and definitely worth buying from here.

I have a small cake business and I always use these for cake boards for my round cakes. Always great quality and such a great professional smooth finish to them they make a great base for cakes.

It is very slippery

Zu dem Preis, bin ich davon ausgegangen, das die Platten abwischbar und wiederverwendbar sind. 1. Sind sie nicht einzeln verpackt wie beschrieben und 2. Ist von unten Papier das bei Feuchtigkeit natürlich sofort igitt wird.

These have a very bad smell, like a musty smell as if they’ve been sitting in a wardrobe for years. The coating scrapes off very easily also which is not ideal.

I have been purchasing different masonite cake boards off of Amazon that I loved, but they are out of stock. I was happy to find these, but they are much thinner, about an 1/8” thick. The real problem is that grease immediately started showing when I put buttercream on the board. Very disappointed overall. I will not reorder.
