So, I've been using this product for a couple of months. I really love this product, as it provides a great deal of precision cooling for my rum. I have been pairing these stones with a 4-pack of Glencairn whisky glasses. What I really love about these stones is that they provide a very precise level of cooling for my rum. People who are expecting this product to cool their rum/whisky to the same temperature as storing it in a refrigerator are sure to be disappointed. However, that's not what these stones are for. If you store your rum/whisky at room temperature, and want to serve it at cellar temperatures, these stones are for you! I have two rums that I enjoy. Zaya rum is my casual drink of choice, and I have a Mount Gay rum that I enjoy on special occasions. The Zaya rum is PERFECT with just a smidge of cooling that two of these stones can deliver! The Mount Gay, as great a rum it is, is designed to enjoy on ice... The melted ice adds a bit of smoothness to the rum that you can't get from chilling alone. What I really love about these stones is that I can add a measured amount of water to give the same effect as melted ice, add the stones, and I have a great drink that will not water down over time. I get to truly enjoy my top shelf rums at the temperature I love them, and with the exact cut of water that they deserve, without having to drink it quickly just to avoid watering it down. If you love a good rum, or a good whisky, and want to be able to recreate the perfect experience every time, AND you want that experience to last over the course of a night, I highly recommend picking up a set of these! As a side note, I also own a fairly extensive collection of premium wines, and I often use these stones to chill my wines back to the cellar temperature they were designed to be enjoyed at.

Awesome whiskey stones! They keep your drink cold for a long time, don't water it down, and look awesome! Definitely a conversation starter. I'll never use anything but these ever again! Plus, the customer service was awesome! I got an email thanking me and shipping was lightning fast! Much cheaper price than a lot of other companies and this product is just as good. The stones are smaller than you invision. But, with a set of 10, you'll never run out. Plus that means that they can fit in smaller glasses. And you can fit plenty of your favorite drink in the glass. They even work in my shot glasses. They're 1"X1" and come with a cute bag to keep you from losing them. Trust me when I tell you that it's a great addition to your home bar.

After reading the reviews for the different categories of cold stones out there, I decided to purchase this one based on the high customer feedback rating. I am so glad I did. They arrived less than 48 hours after I purchased them. When I first saw them, I thought they looked very small - just a little bit larger than a piece of dice - and I wondered whether they would be able to completely chill my drinks. Once I started using them, however, all my doubt was erased. These things are powerful! Only 1 or 2 can completely cool a lukewarm glass of liquid. They are very cool to look at (a very pretty marbled exterior) and they are very easy to clean. I can't wait to use them for a dinner party as I know they will be a great conversation topic. I would definitely recommend this product and will be purchasing more if I do more entertaining!

I have been looking to buy whiskey stones for a few years now but have not gotten around to forking up the money. I used to put freeze pops in my drink because they wouldn't water it down like ice. But I found these on Amazon and figured what the hell, if I didn't like them I could gift them to someone. I was really excited to get these in the mail and the shipping was actually faster than I expected. So the first thing I did when I got these in the mail was to wash them (like the box says you should) and put the freezer because I wanted to use them ASAP. The box said to put them in the coldest part of my freezer for five hours. So when five hours was up I used them. I'm not going to lie, I was slightly disappointed because they didn't do much. BUT, I put them back in the freezer and used them after they were in the freezer for 24hrs. It made a huge difference. They don't cool your whiskey down as much as ice, but they don't water it down like ice does. When I bought them I was not expecting them to be as good as ice but they did meet my expectations. I expected them to make my drink cool, not ice cold. I found that four stones cooled it just the right amount (I use a 6oz. glass filled halfway, so three ounces of whiskey) but three will suffice if thats all that I have cold at a given time. They also take some time to cool your drink down, longer than it takes me to drink it (I drink my whiskey fast). But if you don't drink it like a fish they will do just fine. When they first came in the mail the corners seemed very sharp, like they could scratch a nice glass, but after just 2 uses they rounded off some; not enough that I'm worried they'll wear away though. They do come with a nice bag that you can keep them in while they are in your freezer. Overall I'm very satisfied with them. I'll definitely be using them regularly. PROS: cools your drink (but not cold) doesn't water your drink down CONS: takes a while to completely cool your drink down (~30 minutes) takes stones longer than 5hrs in the freezer to get as cold as possible
