The first few days of using Underarmed, I thought it was working okay. Then, by the end of the week, I started to smell horrible. I contacted the owner and he explained that the detox process of getting rid of aluminum can initially cause worse body odors. I have used aluminum based antiperspirants since they were first invented, so I was a tough detox candidate. The smell was terrible. It even woke me up in the middle of the night! The owner recommended putting apple cider vinegar under my arms to change the pH and said to be patient because my body was adjusting to being aluminum free. He said it could take 3 weeks or longer. I was determined to see it through, and I am really glad I did. At the end of three weeks, the odor suddenly went away and now the deodorant works great! I love the all natural ingredients and the lavender fragrance. As a beekeeper, I like that it contains organic raw honey and chemical-free beeswax. All the ingredients are pure and designed to get rid of the bacteria that underarm sweat feeds on. I think this product is wonderful and the customer service is great. I just ordered more Underarmed and plan to use it from now on. You. Saved. My. Smelly. Life. Honestly, I have sadly been searching and searching for years for a product that would work for me! I thought I was going to have to Inject myself with something more permanent and never thought a natural product would work for me. I thought I was just so smelly that nothing was going to work, making me the smelliest person in all the world. But! YOU! Thank you so much for spending so much time to come up with the perfect formula. Day one I thought it was a little bit too much of an overwhelming lavender scent but I quickly realized I was just used to having to lather on so much product of other deodorants that I didn't need as much as I thought I did. I put on a nice thin layer on day two and I have NO TRACE of body odor whatsoever. I wish it was cheaper but it is certainly worth every penny. I just wish I had found you sooner. I would have felt more confident during my 9 month smelly pregnancy, I would have felt more beautiful on my wedding day, would have been less nervous for my job interviews and SO much more. I am officially WOWed and I couldn't be happier. This is life changing for me!!!! Absolutely love it. Smells really good and the most important part - no stains on my clothes)) I’ve made the transition out of chemical deoderants and into natural/organic deoderants about 2 years ago. In that time, I struggled with trying to find a deoderant that can actually work with sweating and stink! Since I’m used to wearing natural/organic, my sweating has definitely decreased, however I still struggled with trying to find a deodorant and antiperspirant to help with a stink all day long. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars and countless trials to find one that will last all day. THIS ONE WORKS!! I can apply straight from the container without needing to blend with my fingers which I LOVE (most strong natural/organic deodorants require applying with fingers), the product applies smoothly and thin (you don’t need that much, but I do a couple swipes to be on the safe side), there is a light scent which is pleasant and minty smelling (from the eucalyptus), and best part of all, I can go the WHOLE DAY with only ONE application! Seriously, it’s a game changer!

I have been searching for the perfect deodorant and/or antiperspirant for the last 15 years. In my teens, I began using speed stick, right guard, old spice and others. Eventually, I began to seek out all natural products and stumbled upon Tom's deodorant. I loved that it was natural but the product didn't last all day. I tried a few more deodorants that were all natural and found the same problems. The scent didn't last and they seemed to make me sweat more under my arms. I then tried some cologne company deodorants such as polo sport, hugo, armani, aqua di gio, etc. While they smelled great, the scent didn't last and there was little to no relief of less perspiration. I then begrudgingly went back to Old Spice and or Axe products and tried some of the "clinical" offerings as well. While the scents are okay and the anti-perspiration characteristics worked on all of the Old Spice, Axe, and others with Aluminum as an ingredient, I finally decided I would no longer subject my body to that toxin. I also chose to lead a more natural life as a consumer. I then used Molton Brown deodorant and some Herban Cowboy deodorants and was still not pleased. FINALLY, I stumbled upon UNDERARMED by Super Natural Goods on Amazon and decided to give it a try. I have been using it for a little over a week and I love it. The scent is excellent and while I had no idea the product would help with perspiration, it is excellent at preventing wetness for me. We just had some 90 degree weather here and I coincidentally had some yard work to do. While my head and arms were perspiring, under my arms remained dry. I think I have found my new "go-to" deodorant. I promise I will revise this review if I have any negatives to the product. I am eager to see how long a stick lasts as it is smaller than a lot of sticks with the same shape. Try this product and you will thank me later! PRODUCT UPDATE - Today is August 15 and I am ordering a new stick. The product lasted a little under 2 months. While I wished it lasted about a month more, my opinion of this product remains. It is excellent. The only thing I can say negatively about it is that I did experience some slight red spots under my arm on one occasion. It did not burn or feel irritated but was some discoloration. It did clear within a day. Again, not a huge concern, thus my reason for purchasing it again right now.

Underarmed is working amazingly for me. I saw an ad on HULU for it. I was skeptical about their claim that it really works, but I decided to try it. IT DOES WORK! I tried other companies natural deodorants and those didn't work. BUT THIS DEODORANT WORKS. Its is antiperspirant and deodorant. It goes on clear and won't stain or gunk up your shirts. It works better than the name brands I've used in the past that contain aluminum. Here's what I mean by saying it works better. I can apply less Underarmed product on my armpits than name brands for the same if not longer lasting anti-sweat and deodorizing benefit. What's also better about this product is there is no aluminum. I've been concerned about the aluminum in mainstream products and wanting to find a natural deodorant that works and won't give me cancer. FINALLY FOUND IT! I have tried no scent and lavender/eucalyptus which I love the smell. A couple days in the beginning of using Underarmed I applied too little, the result was after doing some work my armpits were a little wet with sweat but guess what? No BO smell. So the following days I applied a little more and the benefit was no sweat and no smell all day. If you apply too much it feels a little sticky. That's your sign... don't apply too much. Just apply as much as you want for as much benefit you want. Here's a tip when trying it for the first time. It's a little stickier than cancer causing deoderant brands, LOL. But if you just move your arms back and forth thereby getting it to absorb the sticky feeling goes away. This should not deter you from trying it. It's not a sticky product, I just think that tip will help some people not to give up too soon. I'm telling everyone I know about this product. I've been using the 2.6 oz stick for two weeks and I think I probably will get another 2 or 3 weeks out of it. This is a great value for the amazing benefit and its all natural. WIN WIN WIN.

Was not a fan of the scent but after applying it the scent kinda faded and smelled like my body wash. I will say applying this was like trying to smear a deodorant shaped bar of sticky thick frosting. It was a gross process. I thought I was good for the day. But a few hours later my pits began to sweat which was out of the ordinary but I was wearing a sweater so I blamed that and I know it's because it's natural deodorant and I have to give it time. But it gave me such a body odor that I don't even get when I go weekends without deodorant. My pits smelled like I hadn't showered in 4 weeks. So after 3 days I stopped using it. Applied my unnatural deodorant for a day as I waited for my thai salt deodorant to arrive (I have been using the salt deodorant for the 2 days and haven't sweat or smelled once despite wearing thick sweaters and coats). The reason I'm reviewing is because I have a rash on my body in a few spots and upper chest pain. It started the day I stopped using the deodorant Monday. I started the new deodorant on Wednesday. I kept trying think what had changed and what would cause this rash. It's not on my armpits, its just below my pits near the side of my boob. It hurts to the touch and I have a bump on my chest right in line with the under pit rash and on my back directly near the pit rash. I began to wonder if I was having an allergic reaction but for two days I've brushed that idea aside checking for bedbugs and wondering if something else was wrong despite all my symptoms pointing to allergic reaction. I usually wait 7 days before I seek medical attention so I decided to wait but this morning I decided to check the reviews on this deodorant to see if anyone had a similar reaction. Low and behold and I am just now discovering all of these "rash" reviews. I'm guessing because I didn't use this as long as everyone else that I didn't get the discoloration or severe underarm burn but I have a reaction nontheless. I'll update this if anything else changes.

Clinical strength and 48 hour formulas are a joke to my pits. I had to reapply those every 6 hours to get any odor control at all. UNDERARMED is a complete miracle... I have eliminated all harsh chemical personal care products from my regimen with deodorant being the only hold out. I have tried many homemade recipies and many conventional and natural deodorants and antiperspirants. Even after aggressive exfoliation, detox pit masks, internal cleansing, clean eating and 6 month trial periods I still struggled with strong pit odor sometimes within only an hour or two of shower and deodorant application. I have experienced red burning rashes with conventional and natural formulas. I thought this one would be no different. To start my UNDERARMED journey, I read many reviews and the instructions on the website before ordering. I thought this would join other failed deodorant trials sooner or later, but ordered anyway. Before first application I showered, shaved the pits, exfoliated pits, and cleansed again with apple cider vinegar, as well as lemon oil and rubbing alcohol to remove as much chemical residue as possible. I did not have time for a detox mask, but I eat clean and cleanse regularly. First application felt sticky and may have been too heavy, but made it about 6 hours before I had to use wet wipes and reapply. This continued for about a week. I was happy because WOW SIX HOURS, and natural. I worked my way to reapplication only every 12 hours. THEN I went to a help supervise a church youth camp for 5 days in South Texas in June. I was too busy to remember to wash my pits and reapply even if it would have been possible or convenient during the busy-ness of camp activities. I was outdoors in 95-plus degrees and 50-60% humidity most of every day that week. I did not smell any pit odor AT ALL. My real test is smelling the worn shirt after showering and resetting olfactory sensitivity. There was the slightest stale sweat scent lingering, much better than smell test from clinical strength and 48 hour formulas which had raunchy-onion-masked-with-perfume scent. This is an unbelievable success for me. I am still wet wiping and reapplying about every 12 hours now, and still not even 1/2 done with my first stick of Underarmed ordered over one month ago. It truly works better with less, as well as being more comfortable and less sticky. Some days I can go without reapplication but feel more confident with 12 hour reapplication. I believe super hydrating during that camp experience helped the odor as well, as hydration is down and odor is slightly up now that I am not usually outdoors all day. I read about rashes in some reviews and really think this would be from too heavy application and build up. I have exfoliated periodically (maybe 1-2 times per week?) with a natural loofah to prevent build up and pore blockage. Underarmed actually seems quite soothing after shaving. I have never gotten a rash or irritation from Underarmed. Regarding stains: I have none. I have been watching since some of my home made and conventional deodorants left stains, and Underarmed leaves no stain when applied lightly per directions. I am actually suspecting that my shirts are harboring old smell since I use a gentle natural laundry detergent without harsh chemical surfactants. My pits often smell neutral even if the shirt I am wearing has a BO scent later in the day. I will soak/pretreat my clothing with vinegar and lemon oil to see if I can go 24 hours on one application and hopefully update. I rarely review products, and I pretty much shop exclusively on Amazon. So it says something when I take the trouble to do it. Specifically I am hoping to address people who had bad reactions to Underarmed or those afraid to try it. Underarmed is not filled with harsh chemicals or fragrances and theoretically should be fine on everyone. It only makes sense when you understand two things: every human body comes with a built in “acid mantle”. An acidic layer that protects the skin from bacteria. Generally we range in pH from 4-6.5 (more to less acidic). The third ingredient in this product is sodium bicarbonate, a fancy way of saying “baking soda”. And every kid knows what happens when you mix an acid (like vinegar) with baking soda: a chemical reaction. I conjecture that the reason the minority of people cannot tolerate this product is because their skin is more acidic. I don’t know how you can change the pH of your skin, if you could, and if you’d want to. I just wanted to share this in the event that anyone who had a reaction thinks this is a bad company or they lie about their product etc. Thesw seem like good folks with great customer service! All I know is that Underarmed works for me! After years of smooshing a gel based aluminum deodorant into my pores, I realized that this seemed like a bad idea. I’ve tried alternatives and I don’t like how they glided, and they left me smelly. Sweat doesn’t smell, bacteria does. And all that aluminum clogging my pores provided a good place for germs to grow. So after an Underarm detox (google that) and a couple weekend days of no deodorant at all, I gave this product a shot. I LOVE the way it smells, it goes on well, and I smell fresh as a daisy all day. I am a healthcare worker and I run all over a hospital. And it works even on my busiest day. It does not keep me totally dry, but sweating is natural. Stinky sweat isn’t. That’s stinky bacteria. I am confident that the steps I took lus the antibacterial properties of Underarmed is keeping my skin healthy. Additionally, my underarms are smoother than they’ve ever been. One swipe is all you need! Lay it against your skin, let it melt a second, then swipe down. That’s it. People who say it’s sticky... idk man. Putting too much on? Were you wet or start with? I don’t think it’s sticky at all. And my clothes are not stained by the coconut oil. Follow directions, give it a shot, and if it doesn’t work for you reach out to Sean and he will make it right!

I've been using this deodorant for a couple of weeks now and I really love it so far! I've slowly switched most of my product over to all natural alternatives over the last couple of years but have reluctantly not given up my generic Dove deodorant. I had tried several other brands of natural deodorant but was never happy with them. I stink....I mean I'm usually a, apply twice a day type of person because I just naturally stink more than most people...gross I know but i'm just being real. I also sweat...like alot. So I could never give up my clinical strength deodorant because well I didn't want to be a stinky sweaty pig in public. However, after using this for a couple of weeks and getting over the hump of the adjustment period. YES IT TAKES SOME TIME! Don't expect instant results. Your body has to detox from all those chemicals your other deodorant has been putting in your pits! But after about a week I noticed a big difference. I can apply this once a day and it lasts me most of the day. I do sometimes notice that at the end of a hot day I need to reapply but I'm used to that with my other deodorants anyways so I wasn't expecting a miracle by any means. If you're looking to switch to all natural because you care about the ingredients you are putting on your skins and therefore absorbing into your body, this is a great product. I'm okay with having to apply it again in the evening after a long day or an extra hot day because its worth it to me. As far as natural products go this is the best I've found. Doesn't irritate my skin, has a great scent, goes on relatively easily. All around a great product!

It does a good job as far as odor control and doesnt have aluminum; however it doesnt roll on smoothly as I'd like.
