**Q: how easy to dis-engage two about 4 feet apart?  How many degrees max? Anything like this for 120 degrees?**
A: If you extend the fitting to its maximum position, it disengages automatically.  So, if it is carefully mounted, they should disengage easily by doing so. The range is 0 to 50 degrees for normal mounting.

**Q: I want to mount on an overhead florescent light fixture from a flat overhead to a 45 degree hanging down position.  will this hinge work?**
A: I’m not sure if it’s work for your project, as this uses weight on top bracket to ‘lock’ its position into notches, like those pool lounge chairs...

**Q: What is the range of angles that the fitting can be adjusted to?**
A: According to the instructions for the same item at Rockler Woodworking, the range is 0 to 50 degrees.

**Q: Can this sit completely flush with the surface it's angling?**
A: You must allow space equal to the height of the mechanism between the two surfaces. In order for the two surfaces to be flush, the mechanism would have to be mortised into them.
