Great Light Weight Jacket for Travel
This is a very nice light weight jacket for any occasion. Wind and rain resistant but the security pockets make it great for travel. The side pockets are double with one set with zippers but it looks like only one pocket is there, so your valuables are safer. The inside pockets have velcro and are very deep so anything you have in your inside pockets would be very difficult for someone to take without your knowledge. The jacket is nice looking and fits well. The extra room in the shoulders and sleeves make it comfortable to wear with layers underneath so you can adjust your warmth for the weather. They appear well made. I am very happy with the jacket!

the Camel color is darker than in the official photos
London Fog is a quality brand, and it shows in this jacket. The material feels like soft felt. The jacket is lightweight. I normally wear size Medium or Large (because I like a loose fit). I got this in Large, and it's a loose fit. So you don't need to buy a size smaller or larger than you usually do; the measurement on this jacket is just right. I especially like the deep inner pockets. Also two zippered side pockets. The zippers are large but plastic, which is not ideal. Metal zippers last longer. In my experience, plastic zippers malfunction much sooner than do metal zippers. I got this jacket in three colors, including Camel. The Camel jacket appears darker than in the official online photo. The jacket plainly said Camel on the tag, so it's the right color. See my photo for what the color looks like to my camera. The photo itself looks a bit lighter than the actual jacket looks to my human eye. It's still a nice jacket.

Great Fit, Weird Color.
So I just received this jacket in the mail about ten minutes ago and was both pleasantly surprised and less than impressed with different features of the item. First off, I want to say that I was looking for a jacket like the one James Dean wore in 'Rebel Without a Cause.' This popped up in my results and it seemed to fit the bill, right down to the shirt-style collar. I ordered it in "chili" because it looked to be the appropriate shade of red. Now I typically wear an XL jacket, regardless of the brand. After reading some reviews, however, I decided to go down a size and I'm glad I did. I run warm and don't often layer clothes - a shirt under a jacket is usually all I need. I ordered it in a Large and I'm very pleased with the cut and fit of it. I prefer my clothes to fit more snugly than most because oversized jackets tend to make me look heavier than I am. It fits well without being tight and, in my opinion, is very well made. The double-entry pockets are a nice, modern touch, but the jacket has a vintage style to it that I really like. My problem with this jacket is only in regards to the color. On my screen "chili" appears to be a crimson/burgundy red color. The jacket, however (which has "chili" on the tag so I know I received the correct color) isn't terribly red at all, it's more of a deep orange color. It reminds me of some of the scenes from Breaking Bad - that reddish-orange sand out in the middle of the New Mexico desert. I'm a little disappointed by the disparity in color, but am so pleased with the cut and fit of the jacket itself that I will most likely just keep it until "red" becomes an option.

Looks great, comfortable and well-made!
London Fog is an iconic brand that has long had a reputation for high quality clothing with elevated style. I’m very pleased that this jacket maintains both; it appears well-made and looks great. It is a little pricier than some other brands that I compared it to. But its design details in the collar, cuff buttons and waist make it worth the slight extra cost. In short, it’s exactly what I was looking for in a stylish and well-made lightweight jacket for spring and fall.

Most Excellent Indeed!
Well, I will have to wait until I actually wear it (it's summer where I live) to award the fifth star, but I imagine it's coming. I'd been looking at this jacket for a while, but the negative reviews, few though they be, kept scaring me off. Finally I decided to give it a shot, especially since Amazon returns are so ridiculously easy, and I am glad I did The quality is excellent, as is the fit, provided one understands that is a roomy, "classic" fit, not the skinny, streamlined look popular today. London Fog is a brand I remember well from my Boomer childhood, so it's being a Classic Fit came as no surprise, and indeed is what I wanted. I did the whole skintight clothing thing back in the 1970s, and have no wish to inflict that on myself or any innocent bystanders forced to look at me. Age is something one must accept gracefully. But I digress... A big complaint in a number of the reviews was the matter of wrinkles. The two jackets I purchased (in Dark Brown and Chili) were neatly folded in the original bags, and we're about as wrinkled as one would expect under the circumstances. A few minutes with a portable steamer, and they were both good to go. The mesh lining is of higher quality than I expected, as are the multiple and clearly useful pockets. The material is a microfiber that looks and feels like suede, and appears to be of good quality. The stitching is solid throughout, better than I have seen on many garments. Again it remains to be seen how they hold up out in the street, but so far I am quite pleased with these jackets, and will probably get one in blue as well. PS: Since I wrote this I decided to put this item to the test with regard to the alleged wrinkle problem. I washed and dried both jackets in accordance with the instructions on the label, and they came out fine, without any wrinkles worth mentioning. So, on the assumption (reasonable, I think) that they're not going to suddenly self-destruct under ordinary use, I am going to upgrade my review to give stars.

Wonderful, cool, windbreaker jacket.
This is the most fantastic, lightweight wind jacket that a person could own!! It is a London Fog brand, available in several colors and sizes. The price of just over fifty dollars is, in my opinion, a STEAL! I have gone over it with an eye for assembly errors and found NONE. Every stitch and closure stitch expertly done. Like I said, this is a lightweight summer jacket:; perfect for those cold restaurants and hot summers. A quick, grab-and-go jacket that you won't be disappointed with. Buy with delight in London Fog.

Comfortable fit, but pocket stitching failed after first wash
I really like this jacket and it fits well. It looks good, feels comfortable, and was exactly what I was looking for style-wise. Unfortunately, after the very first wash, the stitching on the right outside pocket came apart. The seam opened up about 5 inches inside the pocket, making it unusable unless repaired. Overall, the jacket itself is nice, but the stitching quality on the pocket is disappointing, especially after just one wash. I’m getting the jacket replaced. I’ll wash it several times to make sure the stitching holds up on the new jacket. Maybe I just got a bad one. I’ll update this review after I test the new jacket.
