TATE & LYLE Golden Syrup, 454 GR

We purchased this item for holiday baking. Very good taste and quality. We bought it for molasses cookies and for pecan pie. It is a better tasting syrup than others we have bought in the past. It is a big pricey but a nice splurge for your holiday baking.

This golden syrup is absolutely amazing !! The ONLY way I can eat my oatmeal ! I absolutely love it ! I don’t know how to really describe or compare the taste to anything else , it’s the texture of honey , but doesn’t taste like honey , I guess it’s similar to corn syrup , but way better tasting ! It’s unlike anything I have ever had here , put it that way ! And it’s delish! And worth the money in my opinion! I plan on trying it in some baked goods this holiday season as well ! If you’re considering trying it , take this review as your sign to do it ! You won’t regret it ! I’ve gotten this can ( which get the can it’s cheaper and there’s more , and I’ve gotten the plastic bottle , both taste the same , but like I said the bottle is actually less and more money so get the can)

Purchased especially for making A.N.Z.A.C Biscuits, as per NZ recipe. Nice, authentic and recognizable, flavor. Worth the effort to procure. My Kiwi friend approved!!!

This is one of the critical ingredients in a granola I make and it’s hard to find. It’s so much better than corn syrup!!

I made sticky toffee pudding and this was an ingredient. I ordered for the recipe and fell in love with the flavor. I’m using this in place of corn syrup in many recipes from here forward. Give it a try!

can is defective. It came with a leak along it's side seal and a pin hole oozing on the bottom. They won't let me return it either even though it just came yesterday and I opened the box to find it like this. It didn't happen in shipping, it was boxed like this. (It does make one wonder, since they know you cannot return it and you are stuck paying for it, if they save the bad cans like these to send to you?)

Can't have corn syrup so this is the perfect sub. The taste is rich and creamy. Even knd of buttery. Wonderful on a waffle, toast, or Stack. Also good in recipes that call for corn syrup. Like pecan pie. OMG will only use golden syrup from now on. Its in my subscriber stuff.

Product great but it had been leaking during transit, probably due to the heat.

Kenn den Sirup wenigstens schon 30 Jahre. Bekam ihn aus England mitgebracht. Schmeck nach mehr. Gut aufs Brot oder Waffeln. Nur durch den Brexit sehr teuer. Aber zu empfehlen. Geschmack ist einzigartig

Ottimo prodotto, faccio un pudding alla vaniglia e metto lo sciroppo in fondo alla stampa. Quando é cotto si rovescia e lo sciroppo caldo cala sui fianchi. Abbinato al custard caldo é un dessert ottimo

Tate and Lyle’s Golden Syrup is absolutely delicious — it has that rich, old-style toffee and caramel taste that instantly takes you back. It’s surprisingly low in sugar but still offers a beautiful depth of flavour without being overly sweet. The iconic tin is gorgeous and adds a lovely vintage touch to the pantry. Only minor drawback is the lid — it can be a bit tricky to seal tightly — but honestly, that’s the tiniest issue for such a brilliant product. Delivery was super quick too. Full points from me!

This syrup is th real stuff.. original syrup from England. I must commend the person(s) who packed the order. My order of 3 were each wrapped well in bubble wrap to prevent rhe cans from damage and possible leakage which has happened before. Thank you very much for the quick delivery also.
