I liked the short delivery time frame, the grips were packaged in a small box, very cool, and they looked good, install was a piece of cake and they fit perfectly and looked like Gen Patton's WWII 1911, The grips actually made the pistol fit in my hand better than the stock grips, very happy

I've been on a grip-buying spree for my 1911 lately, and these, with the "US" gold medallion surrounded by faux pearl looks great on any stainless or polished pistol. I guess my reason for the 4 stars is that they feel a little hollow, plus, even though the 4 bonus gold screws is generous, they seemed to be a bit short and I didn't want to torque down too much on a couple of them just to get somewhere close to snug. Also, the right grip is hollowed at the top rear for ambidextrous safeties, which I do not have, but still have to see the gap between the top of the grip and the frame. Did the product description say for ambi safeties only? I'll have to go back and check. But still, they are nice grips and are sitting on my 'big iron' right now!
