Short Gibson Maestro Style Vibrato Tailpiece With Arm. These are available in both Nickel and Gold finishes. These are replications of OEM equipment on Gibson guitars. The nickel plated version was used on Gibson Firebirds, SG Jr, SG Special, Melody Makers, '67 Flying V Reissues. Gold version was used on SG Custom models.

Really ordered this for the arm to use w/ the original short Vibrola on a '70 Melody Maker D that I acquired. Design is slightly different than the original but seems like it would be a direct fit as a replacement. I just installed the vibrato on a different project this past weekend and it works great and has a very similar action to the original on the Melody Maker.Overall it seems to be fabricated well and the design works and seems functionally equivalent to and compatible w/ the original parts. It's a little pricey but not horribly so.

Perfect fit for my early 60's Gibson Melody Maker SG.
I only needed the vibrato arm but package also included the attachment to the guitar which I already have. I am a whammy/vibrato user when I play and though it is a great guitar without the vibrato, it is that much better with the vibrato. Shipped fast. I'm happy.
