If manged properly these are the best pillows all around. By far the best pillow for the price. They should be washed and dried prior to using or they don't fluff up properly, don't use fabric softener. While they are not "cooling pillows" they also don't heat up the way most "cooling" do and they don't turn into bricks like memory foams do in cold temperatures. Of course they aren't as expensive as down or custom pillows but each level can be even more comfortable than those high price pillows and they last year's longer. I've purchased 20 of these pillows because my house guest steal them , or I let them take them when they leave, because people and dogs love them! I recently ordered the least firm and love it. I have DDD in my neck and i need a pillow that is super soft and light. Truth be told I can barely sleep with a pillow at all anymore since my neck hurts so badly but it is a habit that I can't break.....this pillows is fine and thin enough to provide me with a comfortable night's sleep and assist with eliminating my neck pain. Mike was right.....lol.....I need a good night's rest!

OK - I'm expecting this to be a review that I return to, and edit sometime in the future. With that out of the way, the pillow arrived and I did exactly as instructed, that being "fluffing in a clothes dryer, for 15 minutes, at high heat". Pillow came out "fluffed" to size, but still not quite as full as I expected (the pillow I bought was a "premium series, queen size, soft"). I've used the same pillow for years, never able to find a replacement, with which I could get a first night's sleep. This pillow (new "My Pillow"), seemed to be a twin of the pillow I was replacing, as far as softness, but the "proof in the pudding" would be sleep. Well, as soon as I laid my head on it, I was impressed, it was both soft and supportive! I had no trouble at all falling asleep! Further, I woke with no neck or back aches (not that I wake with those, but during the times I tried other pillows, that sometimes happened). The pillow stayed cool (major concern of mine, given the type of fill). I've been watching the ads for this pillow for years and also watched the company founder on "Imus in the Morning", and, quite frankly, have found the ads and the founder "off-putting" and delayed the purchase because of the "late night advertisement" style used. Anyhow, I wish I hadn't delayed as this is a solid product. If I were to make any suggestion, it would be possibly go one category firmer. Why? Mainly because of my concern about how this pillow will feel after months of use (remember I opened my review stating I may return to edit this review). If I find that the fill "flattens" or that I have to return the pillow to the dryer to "fluff", I will post that action. On the other hand, if after a month or three, I am still impressed, I will also edit!

I've bought My Pillow pillows before and although they stopped giving my neck support anymore even after re-washing or fluffing in the dryer, they were never toxic smelling before. After trying to out gas the new My Pillow pillow for a few months, I finally washed it with one of my thicker My Pillow pillows I've had for a while. NOW they both smell of toxins. Both are ruined. Also, because the two sizes I already had, became too fat when washed or fluff dried and were unable to keep my neck supported any longer, I bought the least filled one this time, BUT I didn't know that there would be a foot of unfilled pillowcase on the least filled one. Haven't tried it yet after washing because it's too toxic. Disappointed in getting a toxic pillow and washing it with the old one I had that wasn't toxic until I washed them together in my top loading washing machine where you need to put two pillows in to have it weighted properly. Now, I have two toxic pillows that are unusable and too late to return them.

Before purchasing I read all of the reviews, the pro's and the con's. Some said it was too firm, others said it was too lumpy. I am used to sleeping on a down feather pillow but it does me in due to allergies so I decided to try the Premium Yellow series which is the pillow recommended for me. Like everyone else has stated, the pillow comes flat and you find it hard to believe that it will ever resemble anything close to a pillow that you can sleep on but I had no fear. I tossed it into the dryer like the directions said to do and it fluffed up and became a nice, full, fluffy, squeezable, comfortable pillow. Yes the pillow is lumpy as others have stated in their reviews, but once you sink your head into it your head does feel like it is floating on a cloud. The first night I used My Pillow I had the best night's sleep that I've had in months.... years. When I take my afternoon power naps I quickly fall asleep into a deep sleep. I have degenerative disc damage in my neck. I am always in pain. I usually wake up all through the night every two hours. Since using this pillow I am now getting 8 hours of sleep a night, only waking up once (when the dogs want out) and I quickly fall back asleep. This pillow may not be a pillow for everyone but it is the right pillow for me. Prior to this pillow I tried the "Bamboo pillow" but it was way to hard for me. I gave it to my Brother who likes a firm pillow and he loves it. I am going to buy another one and give it to my Son. He too likes a softer pillow and has neck and back problems. Good pillow but I realize after reading another review that I should have ordered a bigger and more firm pillow. It’s very comfortable but it does not feel supportive enough for me. If you’re ordering your first one and hesitating- go for one size up and one firmness level up.

I have other My Pillows that I grew to really like. This recent purchased pillow is totally inferior. Seems like it only has half the amount of filling.
