Beautiful and healthy peace lily, with really big leaves.
I love the Peace Lily plant. Not only are they pretty when they bloom (and the blooms are generally long lasting), but for me, they have been really easy to care for. I do not have a green thumb when it comes to plants, and oftentimes, when I am taking care of plants, even when it seems like I am doing everything I am supposed to be doing correctly, the plant ends up succumbing to an early death for reasons unknown. The Peace Lily is one plant that, despite my not ever following directions as to appropriate care (at least based upon the instructions that came with this plant), I have managed to keep happy, blooming, disease free and alive for years until just recently, when I forgot to water it and it died off. So I wanted to replace that original peace lily plant with another one - in part because I missed having such a cooperative plant, but I also liked the pot I had mine in and wanted to reuse it for another plant in the same place. So I purchased this plant from Amazon. It arrived really in very good overall condition. Shipping time took about a week (Florida to New Jersey and over a weekend) - and when it arrived and I opened it up, the new peace lily was in bloom, though the blooms were about done for and already browning out. The plant only had one dead leaf on it though, but everything else to do with it was thriving, though a bit out of shape, having been shipped from around a thousand miles away. The packaging of this plant for shipping was amazing - it's pot was wrapped tightly in saran type plastic wrap, held in place by bamboo stakes which kept virtually all the soil within its pot and the stakes also helped provide support to plant as well, and the shipping carton was designed to hold the plant securely in place. The plant itself was potted in a typical green plastic nursery container, which fits perfectly inside the decorative plastic flower pot that comes with it. The outer flower pot is very good looking, so much so that even up close, it truly looks like it was made from clay, rather than plastic, so I chose to keep this plant in that pot, rather than using my old one that I originally intended. Overall, this peace lily plant is still doing very well and looks great. My big struggle is deciding whether to follow the care instructions that came with this plant, or do what I always did with my old peace lily, which kept that one alive and healthy for years (though often left its roots sitting in water for days at a time) until a lack of water did it in. If you are in the market for a peace lily, I would recommend considering Costa Farms for purchasing one, but know that the one you will get from them is likely not going to be small in size (even if the height of the lily is matches its description perfectly). So if your space is limited in size for that plant, you might do better purchasing one in person elsewhere, (or you could prune the one you get) so you know the plant will fit your space.

Plant Condition on arrival
The plants arrived in boxes so I thought they would be protected and in good condition. The plants are nearly dead. some of the branches are hanging over the edge and the leaves look like something I have never seen before. I've bought my wife peace lilies before and they looked nothing like these. I will have to buy her new plants for our anniversary as this is what these were for. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE LOOKING!!!!!

Healthy plant
Unfortunately, for the plant, it arrived a day earlier ,than they told me, and I was out of town. I brought the plant in check the interior of the box. It was obviously cold. Subzero wind chills..single digit temp. I reseal the box and allowed the plant a couple of days to it to acclimate its self to the house. open the box back up and the plant looked OK. Took it out and put it in a warmer area, where it got some sun and watered it. A month later, the plant thriving.

Disappointing!
So disappointed! The plant arrived dead. I was expecting the plant so I made sure it was brought in as soon as it arrived and was bummed to find it in the condition it was. We tried to get in some heat and light and there was no helping it. I have ordered from Costa via Amazon before and had to issues. I will definitely be thinking twice before I do so again. On top of that, getting a refund was a pain. Don't follow the instructions on Costa's website. They aren't even close to accurate. Kudos to Amazon support for quickly addressing the issue even though it wasn't as simple as a normal product return.

Very pretty plant, but needs close monitoring of water levels. Recommend transplanting soon
Smaller than expected, but very pretty. Good value on sale. Pot was too small so replanting is an immediate need. When I replanted I found roots were balled up a lot and soil near gone. Would not have lasted long if not immediately replanted. Picture shows plant repotted in new self watering pot. This plant sucks up a lot of water, but leaves turn yellow quick if left in wet soil. It will tell you when it’s thirsty, as all leaves will droop down a lot. Normal for Peace Lily.

Great purchase. Will buy again.
Gorgeous. Well packed. Healthy. Loves having it’s own Dreo humidifier and the bright light from a loft area with high ceilings and lots of windows. I wipe down the leaves with warm-ish water every 2 weeks and keep the soil damp, not quite moist. It’s ridiculously pretty and producing many flowers.
