High quality connectors for the cabling guy!
These connectors work great for quad shielded RG6 coax cabling. I used the the compression tool available from Monoprice (model HT-508), and it is a cost-effective and quality tool. I had to adjust the blades on the stripper so that it left the proper amount of material and lengths on the cable. Once I set it up properly, the the cable termination goes pretty quickly. I'll be keeping a supply of these on hand for future projects.

Inside Diameter Too Small
10-17-2016 Update: A commenter informed I ordered the wrong connector for quad shield cable and suggested I use Sns1p6qs instead of Sns1p6q. I have changed my rating from 1 to 5 so as to not spoil the rating on this product. While I was not able to effectively use this product, it was due to my own lack of knowledge. I'll order the purple (Sns1p6qs) connectors and replace the blue ones. I was going to delete this review but decided to leave it with explanation. It may be of use to someone else going forward. Thanks to the commenter for the advise! I hate these things. The inside diameter is too small. I'm using a spool of Leviton RG 6/U Quad Shield 18 AWG cable and there is no way the inside diameter of these connectors is large enough to work with this cable. Back in 2002 I bought a 50 count bag of Thomas&Betts SNAP N SEAL compression connectors and they worked perfect with this Leviton cable. Belden acquired Thomas & Betts in 2010. They must have changed the design. Or maybe cable has got thinner since the early 2000's. But Comcast used some RG6 cable at my house lately and it's just as fat as the Leviton cable I'm using. Something that makes it worse is the compression piece of the connector is integrated in the connector; unlike the original Thomas&Betts SNAP N SEAL connectors where it was a separate piece. The problem is the compression piece begins to compress, due to its small interior, as the connector is worked onto the cable. I've even tried lubricating the cable to help the connector slide onto it. I've used channel and vice grip wrenches trying to work the connector onto the cable. It is mpossible for me to get the connector far enough onto the cable to get the white foam insulator anywhere close to where it's supposed to be. The result is after using the compression tool, the connector is easily pulled off. FAIL. While I have done 50 successful connector installs over the years using the old connectors, and recently watched numerous youtube videos to see if anything has changed since I originally purchase the cable and connectors, I cannot figure out how to get these connectors to work. If anyone can clue me in I'd appreciate it. Otherwise these connectors are going into the garbage.

Great Compression Fittings for RG-6 Coaxial!
These fittings are the real deal. High quality RG-6 Compression fittings. I worked for Charter Communications previously so I still had my Crimper and Stripper. These are the types of fittings we used at the time when I was working there so they worked in my crimper, no problems. It is my understanding that Charter are now using a slightly different type of compression fitting, which requires a different type of crimper. I am sure these are just as good as the ones they are using now.

Not as it appears
Unfortunately I was disappointed with this product. I received Snap N Seal connectors that had a brass rather than silver finish. One package contained a broken connector and also was slightly less than the number I ordered. Also, the connector was narrower than the silver Snap N Seal I had used in the past and therefore was very difficult to use with the coax I had. I contacted the company but they did not offer a solution or make good. The price may be right but the product was sooo wrong.

snap and seal, a better way to make your connection.
I used these snap and seal connectors in my 5 year tenure as a cable tech. When installed properly, there is not tighter connection. Signal doesn't get out, water doesn't get in. It's as close to a perfect connection as you can achieve. The key to a better signal is a closed system. That is no holes in the wire, no loose connections, and no room for ingress to sneak in and mess with your signal. Snap and seal connectors like these are half the battle. If your place once of these properly on the end of your cable and cinch it tight, you are almost certain to get a clear picture on the other end. If for some reason you don't have a clear signal, check somewhere else, because it's not the connectors that have failed. I cannot recommend these connectors highly enough.

Long Term User
I am an electrical engineer and I have used he Thomas & Betts Snap-N-Seal connectors for over eight years. They are environmentally sealed for reliable connections indoors and out. They are rugged and provide ample tensile strength. The installation of these connectors is straightforward and the audible click gives positive indication of a proper "crimp". I wouldn't use anything else to terminate my coax.

Good quality connector, just be aware of end you need
I'm a newbie to doing my own cable ends but I fell into a trap of my own demise not watching out that is is for regular cable and I was doing a quad-shield cable project. Otherwise, good end. I just probably will not be using many of the ends I bought since I plan to only do QS.
