A quick charge gets you through a day. The Big Downsides · Not Comfortable: This is the main issue. It's very flat, so your hand has to kind of hover over it. Using it for more than an hour can make your hand or wrist ache. · Awkward to Charge: You have to flip it over to charge because the port is on the bottom. You can't use it while it's charging. Bottom Line: A Specialist, Not an All-Rounder Think of it as a "gesture expert" rather than an all-day work mouse. · Get it if you love trying slick trackpad-style gestures on your Mac and don't use a mouse for hours non-stop. · Skip it if comfort is your #1 priority, or if you just want a simple, reliable mouse for everyday tasks. For comfort, a basic ergonomic mouse is better. For even better gestures, Apple's own Magic Trackpad is the top choice.

I was skeptical about buying a renewed Apple product from a random Amazon seller, but this was absolutely worth it. It looks and works just like a brand‑new one with no blemishes, no issues, nothing. It honestly exceeded my expectations.

I received the Apple Magic Mouse listed as “Renewed – Excellent" condition, but the item did not meet that standard. The back latch holding the batter cover in place was bent and would not close properly without using a toothpick, and the mouse makes a scraping sound when moved. The black plastic glide rails appear to be low-quality aftermarket replacements and produce a plasticky, scraping sound when moved . This is not consistent with excellent condition, so I’d like to return or exchange the item.

I’m very happy with this white Apple mouse. The sleek design matches perfectly with my setup, and it feels great in hand—lightweight but solid. The touch-sensitive surface makes scrolling and gestures smooth and intuitive, which really improves my productivity. Setup was quick and seamless with my Mac, and the Bluetooth connection is reliable. Overall, a high-quality and stylish mouse!

Okay, the mouse I got was a generation 1 Magic Mouse. The product came wrapped and after slapping a battery into it I was ready to pair it to my refurbished Mac mini (2012 model). I got this and the Magic Keyboard generation 2 (my guess because it has an integrated battery vs taking batteries like my old one) at the same time I got the keyboard because I am poor and my Chromebook died. I thought getting an old Mac mini would work. I booted the computer and turned on the mouse and it didn’t recognize it. I plugged the keyboard in and it work for pairing. This mouse does not have a built in battery, so couldn’t plug it in. I used an old mouse for setup, so if you only have one good luck the setup to my non-Mac computer using mind could not figure out how to just use the keyboard. After setup I was able to pair this mouse and use it, but when I turned it off after getting on a Google Meets call with my RPG friends it was not recognized by the computer as being connected. I used the other mouse to connect it again and it worked fine. When I turned on the keyboard it recognized it right away, so I am guessing it is a problem with the mouse. It happened again after turning off the computer for the night and both the mouse and keyboard. Next day keyboard worked mouse didn’t. I just ordered a new Magic Mouse rather than a refurbished one. With this one I will use it with my iPad and my Magic Keyboard 1 that is also battery fed, so if the mouse has problems again I can use my touch screen to repair it to the device. The Mac mini does not have a touch screen because it is hooked to an old monitor. The mouse works great when it is paired, but you have to pair it each time because the device doesn’t just remember it, but it does remember the keyboard.

The mouse works perfectly fine like brand new. The delivery is prompt and worry free.

Great quality and look. Literally looks and feels like new. Really no need for a buy a new one when these are available. I got “excellent” condition.

Quality Rating: 3/5 Based on price: 4/5 Time with Product: 4 years (purchased in 2017) Review: I have had this mouse for 4 years and I stopped using it 3 years ago. I still have it lying on my shelf. You see it started off great and worked perfectly. However, after 6 months-year, it began malfunctioning. If I held it slightly up it would disconnect from my MacBook Pro. That literally made it unusable. I cannot tolerate sudden bluetooth disconnections. Therefore, I stopped using it. Simple. When it did work, it was phenomenal and it really is good apple product. I just wouldn't trust to buy it renewed from anywhere. Please do yourself a favor and purchase it new from Apple or Amazon. The investment is much more worth it, and you can garuntee that there wasn't someone else who used it before and ruined it or broke it without you realizing it. Not even that, but technology dies with time by itself. It essentially denatures. Therefore, I would recommend you buy it new so that you can take full advantage of its life expectancy before it dies and begins to malfunctions on you. Thank you for reading my review!
