Chef Works Unisex Bastille Chef Jacket

I love Chef Works! They are my go to brand of Chefs Coats because of their quality. I got a Large and it is very long and too bulky. When it says "unisex" they typically size parallel to women's sizes which I wear a Large because of my bust. I'm 5'5 175lbs and wear a 38G and this coat is too big. I'm going to try the medium and hope it fits. Otherwise, these are great coats! Great value for the money and they look professional (many other brands look cheap). If you are indecisive,...get this one!! You won't be disappointed (just check the sizing!) Update: I ordered a medium and it fits much better! I love this Chef Coat. Very good quality. It is slightly long for me but I will deal with it because this is my favorite of all I have tried recently.

True to size, breathable materiale and very comfortable.

First off I'd like to thank everyone who left a review here you saved me a return. I bought this coat in black for costuming, I am not a cook, though I think this would be a very nice chefs coat as well. I use this jacket for an inaccurate Star Wars ROTJ costume, my V for vendetta costume and with a priest collar. I think it looks really sharp and may even wear it out. It is a durable polyester/cotton blend mostly poly feel a little stiff before washing. Now as one reviewer stated it does not have the front pocket as pictured, which I was happy about, it does have the temperature gauge/pencils pockets on the upper sleeve. Now the sizing was the most tricky for most people, because of previous reviews I ordered the medium and I usually wear a large in most shirts and coats. This coat fits me perfectly, couldn't be happier. I am 6'1", 178lbs thin and usually I wear a 38-40 long suit jacket. This medium size should fit about ~15-17 size neck, ~35-42 chest and waist and has sleeves long enough to come to my wrists on my longer size arms. Overall, a very comfortable coat, would make a nice chefs coat and works great for my costuming needs. Just be careful of the inaccurate description and sizing.

Very thick fabric. That's great for keeping oil splatter away. Perfect fit for a woman's body- flatters my figure. It's a male dominated field but I'm proud to be a professional, hardworking woman. Fabric resists stain sand fading. Looks crisp after repeated washings. The sewing is top quality. I highly recommend to any female chef!

Really sharp looking. I am a home cook and this protects my clothes agains splatter and stains.

Great product quality and look a teeny bit big around wrist but still a good fit

Very convenient. Keeps my clothes from smelling like whatever I'm cooking. I'm a guy, MUCH better than an apron.
