Ingenio Spellable Bilingual Spelling Game

Got these puzzles for my mom who is living with dementia. I had to give her only a couple of puzzles at a time otherwise it proved to be too difficult., but otherwise a wonderful activity to engage her mind and pass the time.

I absolutely LOVE these puzzles! Awesome way to memorize short vocabulary words especially in both languages! My 2 year old really enjoys them. I usually start off with about 5 or 6 of them all put together so she can see what she's working towards. Then I take them apart and scatter them around so she can put them back together. As we are looking for letters I challenge her to think of what sounds they make and if those sounds match the sounds in the word. We also talk about the picture and repeat the words aloud. She does really well and has fun doing it! Once she's completed that set we do a different set of 5 to 6 puzzles and repeat.

My six year old grand daughter is learning Spanish in her grade school and this is one more tool to help in in so many ways. Captures her interest and challenges her : ) She is now teaching her two younger brothers everything she is learning!

This is a great activity for pre-school and elementary school children learning to spell and read. The puzzles are simple, quick and fun and the pictures really help with word associations.

Puzzles are only 3 -4 pieces so its for very young children; However, if they know "one in English" they can the puzzle together to see "uno" in Spanish. Nice small gift for any occassion.

Good for my Spanish class for beginners, it’s a good game for the classroom or at home. I like that it comes with different words on each side.

I use this activity with my kindergarteners during small group instruction. This activity is great to segment sounds in Spanish words. Students write the sounds in the word on white boards.

I bought this by accident. So I don’t have any good review for this product.
