I needed a grill spatula for fish. The current one I used had a bad habit of pushing the fish around and it was hard to get under a fragile piece of fish. This Dalstrong model has a very sharp leading edge that allows it slide easily under thin fish and it works great for anything on a grill. Pro/Con Pro: -Very well made, high level of fit and finish, nice feel and balance, definitely a high end kitchen utensil -Spatula is very flexible and has decent width for fish and chicken -Works great for grill cleaning as well - a quick pass with this scraper on the grates and they are clean -Cleans up quickly even when used for blackened fish Con- -The leading edge of this spatula is knife sharp. That's a pro and a con. The "pro" part is that the edge slides under sticky food with ease. The "con" part is that you have to be careful how you store this spatula so that the sharp edge is facing away from you in a drawer, inside a grill cabinet or that the blade is pointing down if you use a counter top kitchen utensil container. I have an All Clad kitchen utensil "barrel" and I make certain this spatula is blade down because it's so sharp. Overall, this is a valuable kitchen tool that is ideal for grilling, baking and even grill cleaning. It's top rate for fit and finish and overall quality.

I was a little hesitant to purchase this just because of the price but let me tell you after being a chef for more than 25 years I decided you know what I deserve it! I've never had a really good spatula, great knives wonderful cutting boards but I never treated myself to a really good turner. I was elated when it arrived and I opened the beautiful packaging it is a high quality instrument that I will use and cherish for years.

arrived on time, excellent condition, has more weight than i expected, but that is a plus. works great for various foods to be flipped but is limited on how much weight it can handle. you can't turn a roast with it. use it for what it is designed for and you'll love it. very nice looking.

Once in a while you buy a product that lives up to its marketing. This is one of them. Well crafted with great materials, this spatula is essential if you cook fish (full disclosure: I'm a pescatarian). It will likely last ten years or more (for me at least), if not a lifetime. It's so nice to buy something that is so well made and so useful. I highly recommend that you add this to your kitchen arsenal.

Rien à dire sur la qualité des matériaux utilisés, on n'est pas sur de la matière bas de gamme. Mais voilà, on ne va pas employer tout et n'importe quoi pour un ustensile dont la fonction première est tout de même pouvoir retourner les poissons ou oeuf au plat. Ici, la spatule est ridiculeusement lourde et l'acier employé est rigide et ne bouge pas d'un iota. Mais le pire reste le bout de la spatule, aussi tranchant qu'une lame de rasoir ! Les poêles avec une couche anti-adhérente ne vont pas faire long feu

There's nothing better than using a quality piece of gear. The packaging screams professional and the utensil within measures up. The handle is solid and has a good feel. The angles of the spatula are perfect in every axis. I use this tool everywhere. Clean-up is easy and it feels like it's going to last a long time. Anyone rummaging through your utensil drawer will stop and marvel at this beauty. What about the price versus other brands? Yeah, that just doesn't matter. Given the quality, it should be priced higher yet using other brands as a measure. Just don't tell Dalstrong. I can't even bring myself to throw away the box it came in.

Best spatula I have ever used. Don't waste your money and buy the cheaper ones. This spatula will last a life time.
