This is a very cute and stylish little gate and works perfectly for a larger opening and a SMALL dog. It looks more reddish and variegated in the Amazon photo but the one I received was solid brown and worked fine with our décor. It folds back nicely for easy access and it’s fairly solid, but I don’t think I would trust it too much with a really active dog. I have another one in the house in the “Giraffe” cut-out pattern and my little one can get her head through the openings. Not the case with this one as the scrolls are closer together. Overall, it’s a really good buy and will definitely serve our purpose for the time being while Puppy is still too small to go wandering. Like it a lot!

Product was broken and torn like it was used for years! I wouldn’t even buy it for $10 the way its condition was! Horrible!!!!!

Got a few of these to use where we want the door to a room open, but not for the dogs to get into (guest room, pantry, etc). They're pretty from afar and the pieces are connected together well. The quality of construction in each piece might be a little off (wooden pieces don't line up in the corner of one piece). When looking at the gates up close, you can see the scroll work pieces are hard cardboard like material. But overall, they look good, and do their job. I have two 40 lb Basset Hounds who are easily discouraged by gates in the doorway, so this works well for them. It just looks nicer than having the traditional baby gates up everywhere.

I know this isn't the intended purpose for these gates, but... !! I live in the mountains where I don't really NEED curtains... just Something to feel a little more... private... And while sitting at the table in dining room, I just don't like seeing reflections in the glass. I didn't want to use fabric... we have kitties who like to sit in the windows, and fabric just grabs the kitty fur. So, I bought some of these to put along the bottoms of the windows in dining room and utility room. You can adjust them to fit on the sills as you wish. They work, and I've gotten so many compliments on them! They look beautiful from inside and out. I will try to post a photo later if this thing lets me. These gates are sturdy and stay put. I'm sure any critter could knock them over... but if they are trained that these mean "DO NOT CROSS"... (water squirter bottles make a good, safe warning... squirt the water, don't throw the bottles! ha!)... they will do the job beautifully.

Pretty and matches my decor. The framing is not sturdy so with the slightest movement the frame separates from the decorative screens. It appears the wooden dowels that hold the frame together are too small for the notches. Had to wedge paper into the notches to get them to hold.

I purchased this identical gate before on a different website and the construction was poorly made. I was hesitant in ordering again from Amazon but I'm so glad that I did. This one is sturdy and well constructed. Nice design. Looks great. Fast delivery!

This is the perfect gate to keep the dogs away from our Christmas tree! (I needed 2). It's pretty, sturdy, and does the job well. I definitely recommend!

Total waste of money and I unfortunately bought 2. Screws that held the frame together actually didn’t in a couple of places and several of the wooden dowels also holding the frame together were broken. Did my own repairs but eventually they fell apart. Avoid buying. 1 star, only because I can’t give no stars.

I wanted something to keep my Pomeranian out of the living room at night, and I wanted it to look nice. Although it seemed expensive, I am delighted with it, and don't regret paying the extra dollar to get something really nice.
