Definitely best for claw-grip users, not so much palmers. I paid thirty dollars for this, but it works more like a mouse worth half that price. Plug and Play only, not software customizable. Have had an issue with the Left mouse button sticking off and on, usually at the most inopportune time in the game. I have had three occasions where it simply quit registering input of any kind or totally stopped moving the cursor on the screen, had to get out of the program and re-plug in the mouse to get it to work again. I have two other (different brand) mice that work just fine under the same circumstances, so it is definitely this mouse having problems. The DPI button is very nice, and changing DPI settings is a breeze on the fly. Tried using it at all the different polling speeds using the switch on the bottom, but that didn't make it work any more reliably, unfortunately. I really wanted to love this mouse, since it does look really awesome, and I love the lighting and the mouse wheel action but sadly I simply can't count on it enough to enjoyably game with. This was a great deal. The lights are cool and many people have commented on it. Ergonomically, it feels right in my hand. I use an iMac and it installed without any issues (plug and play).The scroll could be smoother, but that's my only complaint.
