It captures stunning pictures and is incredibly compact. I primarily use it to live stream my aquarium, allowing me to keep a watchful eye on the fish even when I'm away from home. Furthermore, its versatility makes it a fantastic option for a security camera, with a wide range of lens options available that fit perfectly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Okay *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 14 February 2025* This camera is available in two forms: a module configuration, which consists of a circuit board with the camera mounted, or in a small metal box.It is aimed at those seeking a specific application. This could involve installation into a project or using the simple box camera as a webcam in conjunction with a separate microphone. The benefit of using a standalone microphone is the improved audio quality compared to the integrated microphones found in combined webcams. In terms of usability, the camera is very straightforward. It comes with a long cable and a traditional USB connection (USB 2.0 A), making it plug-and-play compatible with Windows and Linux. The choice of lens is also important. A fisheye lens offers a rounded appearance and a wider field of view, while the two options of 2.1mm and 3.6mm lenses provide a more traditional webcam-like perspective. Your choice will depend on your preferences and needs. The price reflects that this is a more specialized product. However, based purely on price, it competes with many similar cameras that offer full HD resolution or better. As always, it's worth checking Amazon for other products and comparing options. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ superb *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 11 March 2025* This is a really excellent little camera. It's not a spy camera or a toy - it's a serious piece of kit that just happens to be very small. I got the version that is packaged in a metal enclosure.I am using it with a Mac but I have also tested it with Raspberry Pi and it works well with both. It's simply plug & play - no messing around, it just works and is recognised as a USB video source. The video quality is high - 1080p - and the colour balance is normal. The fisheye lens is great making this perfect for background in streaming videos, for taking a view out the window, and so on.Very happy with this product. ## Frequently Bought Together - ELP USB Camera 2MP 180 Degree Fisheye Lens Webcam 100fps/60fps 1080P Camera Module with Metal Case,UVC USB2.0 Webcam for Computer Laptop Jetson Nano Windows Linux Raspberry Pi - Raspberry Pi 5 (8GB) - AZDelivery Flex Ribbon Cable 15 cm (6 inch) compatible with Raspberry Pi Zero Camera/Display including E-Book! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.mx/products/182451219-2mp-high-frame-rate-100fps-usb-camera-with-180-degree](https://www.desertcart.mx/products/182451219-2mp-high-frame-rate-100fps-usb-camera-with-180-degree) --- *Product available on Desertcart Mexico* *Store origin: MX* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
