Easy to install! Tools included!
Installation was pretty straightforward. Took about 20-30 mins. The battery comes with all the necessary tools for installation. Pretty neat! There are a few videos on youtube on how to install the battery. Some users* may need heaters and/or hairdryers to soften the glue (yes, Note 9's back cover and the battery are soft glued). *I have neither, so I just peeled the cover off witht the tools that came with the battery. Just take your time! P.s. the battery seems to work fine. I got a 7600Mah one. Will update if anything happens!

Everything you need and a perfect fit with much higher capacity than the original.
I have an old Galaxy Note 9 which I personally love. It is a great phone and I hated to see it die. After buying a new phone (which I don't like nearly as much) I decided to see how hard it would be to swap the old battery out so I could keep it is a spare. It turns out it is a very easy swap- especially with this particular battery from this particular seller. This "battery" is actually a battery and a whole bunch of specialized tools specifically for this job with a link to an excellent instructional video that walks you through the entire operation from start to finish. If there is one thing that is missing it is a replacement back glass for the Note 9 since I do not think it is possible to open the phone without breaking it (it is VERY fragile and it is glued on firmly). Luckily the back glass is readily available and fairly inexpensive. Do yourself a favor and be sure to order a back glass replacement at the same time you order this battery. Your future self will thank you. The entire swap took less than half an hour but I could probably do it in 10 minutes now that I know what to expect. My old phone looks brand new again and has a battery with almost twice the capacity of the original 4400mAh battery. Be sure to cycle the battery as indicated in the instructions after installing in order to maximize the usable capacity of the battery. If your Note 9 battery has decided to poof up or isn't holding a charge anymore I would highly recommend that you purchase this battery (kit) along with a rear glass replacement and swap it yourself. I hope you find this review helpful!

Hope this helps others decide
Ok the battery itself is on day 2 and so far lasted about 36 hours and was ~8% before I stuck it back in the charger - I'll update this after a week. Biggest challenges: * The plastic guitar pick did go in AT ALL, I had to use a metal prying tool I had to get started. The suction cup made no difference. The videos you see are of the phones which have ALREADY been pried open. I heated the phone for a fair bit. * It was not clear to me that once you pry open the back that the glue holding it together is compromised and it will not go back exactly as before. * So while scraping the glue off and heat-gunning the back glass I did not notice that you can scrape off the color.. so now my back glass looks a bit trashy (which is ok since I use a cover anyway). * The odd shaped stickies, I think are intended to be randomly slapped on the back. Couldn't they have packed in 4 thin strip stickies one for each side? So, I am not sure this was a net positive outcome. The phone's waterproofing is compromised I doubt it would qualify for one of those bring your phones and exchange for a new phone type deals. Functionally the battery is working better, but It would have been far less trouble to stick it in the charger a second time during the day. And Phone reports this as 4000mAh not 4200 6 months in: Back to same problem of nearly no charge by 7 or 8th hour. Original battery was better than this.

Revived My Old Note 9 – Solid Battery Upgrade So Far
This is the second battery replacement for my trusty old Samsung Galaxy Note 9, which is now in my mom’s hands. The original battery had served well for over 4 years but was clearly on its last legs, so I picked up this SHENMZ 7600mAh replacement. Installation was pretty straightforward—the included repair kit had everything needed except a heat gun (which you’ll definitely want for loosening the adhesive). I also opted to use my own quality screwdriver since the ones in the kit weren’t the best, but they’re fine in a pinch. As for the battery itself, it’s still early, but so far it’s holding a charge well and supports fast charging just like the original. It gave this solid old phone a new life, and I’m happy with the results. Will keep an eye on long-term performance, but initial impressions are very positive.

Not an improved one
Not a better product as compared to original OEM battery. I bought it against the advice of my repairing guy. Be aware that it's not 42 mah and not an improved version of original battery. Contrary to its claim of being 35% more power, it is even not equal to the original 'unimproved' one. My experience is not great. Buy at your own risk. I would suggest you to buy original one. I'm using note 9 for three year since it was launched. Over the years my phone's battery had weakened and I needed to charge it once in the afternoon in order to keep using my phone the whole day. Surprisingly after installing this battery I have to charge it in the mid day too. What's the difference?

Could not get back of phone to come off like video showed
I tried 3X to heat up the back with a heat gun and no matter how much I tried lifting with the suction cup, I couldn't get it to open like he showed. The cover was extremely hot and I HAD to use a glove to keep from burning myself. After the 3rd time with no success getting the back to crack open like he showed, I said forget it cause I didn't want to destroy my phone from over heating it before I had another new phone to replace it. I'm not sure if they changed to a stronger glue on mine, but there was no way it was opening as easily as he showed in the video! Fortunately it still worked after it cooled down. Any suggestions?

less battery power than listed, tools aren't included
This is MISSING TOOLS. You need a heat pry tool: I tried using my own heat gun or hotplate like the tutorial but those heat parts you don't want hot, and you need rubbing alcohol to drip in the battery compartment to loosen because blasting heat at your front screen causes screen damage and also not effective. You will need to buy a replacement back panel too because it's glass and will shatter as you try to pry it off. The added tools mean this would have been cheaper to bring to a repair shop and I regret buying this. This is a phone battery and it does fit. BUT it lies about the listed capacity. I was replacing a battery that was down to 3,000 capacity, while this was thousands more. This has the exact same amount of battery life as my worn 3,000 capacity battery. The tools are also not good enough for the job, the pry tool snapped and the suction cup was too weak to hold even the fully loose back plate when I tried. Again, I regret buying this, it cost me a lot with all the extra supplies I had to add and did not improve my battery experience at all.

FALSE battery capacity. Battery application shows capacity to be closer to ~3400 mAh
I should not have taken a chance on this NON oem battery replacement. The sticker label for this battery shows as 5400 mAh, product title shows as 4200 mAh, product description shows as 4000 mAh, and battery application estimates actual capacity to be ~3400 mAh. I have ZERO confidence that this battery is anywhere near 4000 mAh. I will now be sourcing a proper OEM replacement battery, replacing the battery again, and returning this product. For future battery replacement purchases, I will ONLY be buying OEM replacement batteries. For $26.99, this should be an OEM battery kit. Proper price for this kit should be closer to $10 to $15 range.

No instructions
I followed YouTube person changing their battery. Easy enough process through YouTube. I had no idea what the pink thing was in this package was sticky I used as adhesive to keep battery to phone.

Battery performance is not as advertised, do not buy
Battery is not as advertised, it does not do 4200 mAh, my third party app shows its at 3000 after I reset my app data for the new battery and have had 2 weeks of use with it. To get a replacement, I will have to buy a new battery and a glass back cover. Don't waste your time with this battery, the positive review for this product are uneducated on the battery capacity and how to find it.
