A heavy duty hub!
At the price of the hub, it was difficult to know exactly what we were going to get. We have seen both good and bad at this range, so the anticipation was there like a kid waiting to open a present on Christmas. The resulting conclusion to it all was a positive experience as this is a hub that feels durable while providing plenty of expansion for any computer. It has some weight to it and feels as though it will last a long time. The silver trim around the sides and the strip going down the top-right corner/edge leads to a nice visual touch. It comes with a surprisingly well-shielded USB cable to run between the dock and the computer with, and 7 ports seems perfect for something like this. The buttons that control the on/off for each port feel a little soft when pressed. We couldn't tell if we liked it because they are quiet or if we didn't completely like them because we don't get a nice click every time we press them. Either way, they seem to work just fine and carry their function no matter how many times we pressed them. Overall, we really liked this hub, and couldn't find much that we would change other than it would be nice if it was USB 3.1, but of course, that opens the table for another model to do just that in the future if they aren't already working on it. So, mighty fine USB 3.0 7-port hub!

Better than Expected
I previously had a USB port hub but not only was it giving me issues when I tried connecting certain devices but I needed more ports (it only came with four). This was a big improvement as it comes with seven ports with buttons that allow you to turn them on or off individually. It's also has a good sturdiness which keeps it stable on my desk and it was simple to use from the start. Once you set up, you barely have to worry about it moving forward. And the best part is my devices seem to connect to my computer faster than before! It's also if I plugged it in directly rather than through a port hub which I felt deserved a five star rating. I will say it did act a little funny while I typed this review (flashdrive kept disconnecting and reconnecting) but it subsided hopefully for good. It's close to thirty bucks but what it's worth, I'm not having any issues and it's incredibly smooth and reliable so it may just be worth the money since it includes peace of mind as well. All in all, a solid product that I recommend if you had similar issues with a previous hub or if you simply need some USB ports for your devices.

Good powered USB hub
Pros Looks good and seems to function well. Construction is really good and on par for powered usb hubs of this capacity. I really liked the look of it. Cons Potentially I have more power draw with my flight sim gear and Headtracking. I noticed my usb hyperx mic would turn on when I muted it as if it lost power and came back. I dont notice this unless Im in the Sim with the headtracking and several USB controllers. The draw maybe over the rated powered adapter which then would make that my issue but I doubt it as thee are 5 devices connected with 2 being off most of the time(wired gaming mice). Improvement. I have mine mounted with 2sided tape on my desk. To access the buttons on the left I cannot see the power lights as they are on the right facing away from me. The lights need to be aligned with the buttons. I also use r angled USB to clean up the wires as having 7 USB running up is ugly and hard to tell what is what. I turn off my head tracking, and other usb devices as needed so I need to feel to see if the button us up or down.

Worthy USB hub upgrade for my desk gadgets
I had been using a 4 port USB hub from Aukey for a few years, while I enjoyed using it - I needed more ports, as well as more power, as the Aukey hub kept disconnecting and getting "overburdened" by the voltage needs of all the devices I would plug into it This hub is awesome, and here is why: 1) 7 ports of beautiful USB 3.0 speed 2) it is powered, no more issues with high power consuming gadgets such as my android phone and bluetooth dongles 3) each port has this awesome on/off switch - very efficient I love that Looks pretty slick as well, colors match my desk setup If you are on the market this hub works great, and it is very cost effective - give it a try if you are on the fence

Excellent hub, tried many.
Things I found very good. The led lights actually flicker when the ports are in use. Many of the other HUB's lights only show if the port is powered on or off but no activity so verify that with seller if not specifically stated in the listing. Also, the lights are on an angle so you can see them from the side very easily. It is metal and very study. I also like the host cable is not attached. I purchased a separate USB 3 host to USB C cable. It doesn't increase the speed it will still be USB 3 limit but allows you to connect to a USB C 3.1 port instead of USB 3 port for various practical use scenarios. Many other USB HUB's have the cable permanently attached. One thing I don't like which is manageable is that if you face the LED lights towards you the power switches are behind the connectors. So reaching the buttons can be a little bit annoying especially when all ports are in use because there isn't room to reach around the side you have to go over the top. I am still using it because in light of that one limitation I noticed is it an excellent HUB and after various speed test it is 100% working as expect. I sign this as a very good purchase.

This hub is a game changer & even charges your devices!
+1 star because it charges your devices with just the AC adapter plugged in (no need for a laptop to be connected like the Aukey powered hub) +1 star because you can turn each port on/off individually. I have an RGB keyboard and love being able to turn the lights off when it's not in use with the push of button. +1 star because all of the ports are USB 3.0 (haven't tested the speeds but I'm sure it'll be fine) +1 star for the sleek design. I like that both the power adapter and USB connection to your laptop are on the same side. +1 star for the blue lights indicating which ports are "on" not blinding me. The "on" lights are on a small, shiny metal strip which is very sleek. I have the hub in my line of sight on my desk and it's not distracting. I purchased this after returning an Aukey powered hub since it wouldn't charge my devices on its own. I'm so glad I found the Rosonway because while it has less USB connections than the Aukey I returned, it has so much more functionality. This is a game charger because I no longer need charging blocks and room on the power strip to charge my devices, and it looks so nice on my desk. The AC adapter also keeps all of my peripherals connected to my laptop at all times.

This may be the greatest USB hub I have ever owned
Seriously, this thing is robust and sturdy. It has real weight to it and in no way feels flimsy like most of these things do. Metal outside casing. It feels like it is going to last and last. I bought one for work last week, LOVED it and ordered this one for myself at home. Both came in great shape, seriously after the first one arrived, I immediately logged in and ordered a second. Let's see, 7 ports with buttons to turn each port on or off. There's a blue LED light on the right hand side that lights up next to each port showing if it is on or off, which is a pretty handy feature. The push buttons also recess down once pressed, so if the button is down and the light is on, you know that USB port is working. The USB light is not obnoxiously bright like on some accessories, you could sleep with this thing next to your face if needed. It's more of a soft blue glow. Bottom line, get it. Order 2, do it now haha.

Hub bleeding current the wrong way into the PC making internal fans run causing damage to mainboard!
Cons: Defective, suspect that there is no circuit protection to prevent current from passing from the powered hub through the PC's USB port to the Mainboard! I know this is happening as different brands of powered hubs do not do this, and because the Processor and Case fans which are connected to the Mainboard for power keep running even if I unplug the computer as long as this 'Rosonway USB Hub' is still connected to the USB port of the machine while powered! I believe this will damage my computer and am quite furious about this issue! Conclusion: I am a Server and PC technician with 38 years of experience and education building and repairing/maintaining computers having built or worked on thousands of them, so I am not some novice guessing what may be wrong. I asked if anyone else had this issue but no one understood the question and assumed I had for some demented reason connected fans to the hub directly! I will be returning this item as soon as posible! I have 2 other 'Rosonway USB Hubs' that I purchased some time ago, too long ago for a return, that I will be contacting the seller about. Upon opening those machines when connected to the hub(s) while those machines are unplugged I can see that the hubs are sending current the wrong way into the mainboards as well and I believe they would damage my machines if I kept using these hubs!
