Does this product have residual effects, meaning do you have to spray the bugs directly to kill them or if they crawl through it later will it kill?

Sometimes there will be bugs crawling out. Makes it easier target to kill.

Can i spay mattress or clothing with this

Clothing should be washed to get rid of bugs when possible. Heat kills them just as well as chemicals, though heat doesn't have keep working later. Just put any fabric or pillows that fit into a dryer in on the hottest setting for the longest amount of time on the machine. You can wash and dry it normally after, though only using the dryer on completely dry fabric is needed.

What's the difference in this Ortho Max and the original ortho in which I've purchased three times and now they've hiked the price of double sometime?

The difference is that Ortho Home Defense Max Bedbug, Flea, & Tick Killer uses Bifenthrin, Imidacloprid, & Piperonyl Butoxide. Ortho Home Defense Bedbug, Flea, & Tick Killer uses phenoxybenzyl, dimethyl, cyclopropanecarboxylate, N-Octyl bicycloheptene dicarboximide, & Imidacloprid. Ortho Home Defense Insect Killer uses Bifenthrin, & Zeta-Cypermethrin.

Does this Kill even after its dried?
