What thickness of stone will these drill?

I usually try to stay around anywhere from an 1/8th inch to 1/inch...I find that works for me..

Will these drill through animal bone (for jewelry making)?

I would think they would. I drill through fossils for jewelry making. I have to keep the stone wet, and periodically wet the tip of the drill bit.
