The first box I got did not work properly at all. I sent it back and the second box I got works beautifully. I received it in two to three days. Thank you for replacing the first box. I appreciate it. Yes, I recommend this item. I’m probably going to buy another one for Halloween.. This one is for a Father’s Day display manikin at the place where i work.

this was a great gift for my dad in his themed bathroom. the sensor is very sensitive so work amazing!

I bought this because of the reviews and the price. It came quick, and was easy to figure out even without the instructions. It is loud if you record your voice for example close to the device. The motion detector is sensitive. I love it because it scared my friends that didn’t know it was there. When you first open it and put the batteries in be careful, because the sound that it comes with scared me!

Works gr8. Plays a recorded song

I use this thing daily. I have a song that it plays when i walk through a door. As a musician i love my tunes. So, I like this one as I can record right to it without any sd cards or pc hooks ups. Hold down the record button and you get like 2min i think. Its worth it if you need to record and play with motion without any fuss. Its a mono speaker so dont expect bose sound fyi!

I purchased this for a pumpkin painting contest (wanted our pumpkin to scare people as they walked by) the first one I purchased did not work. Instructions are extremely unclear and although it seems simple to record… it does not record and at one point stopped playing the pre-recorded sounds entirely as we were trying to figure it out. I purchased a second one and the exact same thing happened. Four different fairly intelligent adults read the instructions and attempted to make it work… it simply does not perform the functions stated it can do. I will say, the motion sensor works wonderfully.. to bad it couldn’t record the scary voice we wanted. Both have been returned.

I use it on porch to let me know when dog wants to come back in. Now he never gets forgotten that he's outside.

Whoa!! Loud!! Finially after all this time I found a reliable motion activated sound box for Halloween!! It works like its supposed too! I just recorded sound on it instead of transferring sound from the computer, its easier that way. Just need it for a quick jump scare for people walking into my haunted house! Hopefully its enough to trigger sound activated props too! Its so loud on the highest settings its ear piercing but man does it work! I'll be ordering another one before Halloween.

easy to use works well

Great product. We have a 7’ wooden parrot (like a totem pole) and used this device to replicate a talking parrot. My husband chuckles at the very sound of the parrot talking. Having lots of fun with this.
