The iPad Air & iPad mini PocketGuide 5th Edition

I tutor dyslexic children and have used a wonderful Orton-Gillingham-influenced program for years now. Just recently the producer of this program released apps for the iPad that replicate the physical tiles used for instruction. I really wanted to be able to use these apps, but it meant purchasing my first Apple product about which I knew nothing. I'm a die-hard PC and android tablet user. Sooo...I needed some quick help to navigate my iPad Air. This little book has been a life-saver!

Great book for the beginner. I'm a senior and had no clue what to do with my IPad. Was able to do more than I ever expected after reading this book. Easy, clear and helpful instructions.

still need the complete reference since if you don't know what you don't know about, you can't look it up.

this new 5th addition book was published Dec.30,2013 & i received my copy Jan.4, 2014. very quick. good price.its a pocket guide 5X7 inches, 267 pages, covering the iPad Air and iPad mini.i am a new iPad mini owner and needed a book to help. i'm not very far into this book but it looks good. black & white, not color.5 stars for color.

When I first got my iPad Air, I bought this book and 4 others ... this is the ONE that I read cover to cover and continue to carry for reference ... a must for first-time Apple users ....

Pretty thorough and easy to use reference and learning tool. I've learned "tricks" and manuevers I otherwise wouldn't even know were there to be used. We need one for the newest ipads!

It is a little harder to read than I expected as the icons are not in colour. More complicated than I expected.

I needed a portable guide for my new iPad mini to learn how to set it up and how to use it. The contents of this guide are very detailed and clearly informative.It also includes many figures or pictures to help describe the steps involved to achieve the desired result.The smaller size allows me to tuck it into my purse, where it is readily available if I need to look up something while I'm away from home.The iPad Air and iPad mini Pocket Guide (5th Edition)

i love its simplicity,i am a person in my sixties and do not find technology easy i would recommend it due to its simplicity and easy to understand

The more information and help you have when you purchase the iPad Air the easier it is to get to know the iPad. I have found the information extremely useful in this pocket guide.

Not quite what l was expecting, the content and explanations were very basic, not very helpful for me

First one I could find that was comprehensive and foolproof for new users in a handy pocket size..then even better, I found the ebook version..downloaded it to both my Kindle Fire and my iPad Air. This is the smallest guide I could find.
