Fairly easy to put on. It comes with 3 laces in case you mess up. I recommend just barely clipping of the aglet and trying to waste as little as possible, I think you could get a LOT of extra use out of these. I got the fun colorful ones. Theyve absolutely transformed my Peluva barefoot shoes into quick and easy slipons! And yes they looks silly I know. I have mobility issues caused by TERRIBLE FOOTWARE resulting in foot and back problems. These are the only things that dont hurt. And now they have a pop of color! I recommend the shoes and these lovley laces.

UPDATE: This is my 6th purchase and these are awesome! I’ve never had to replace and they do NOT fringe or warp. The elastic keeps it shape too so I’ve never had to adjust even after many runs on the trail! Pro tips: 1. Put the elastics in and wear your shoes a couple of days with just the elastics. They look like laces so no one will know and you can adjust for the right fit before cutting them off to install the plates 2. Do NOT cut off the end of the elastics all the way to where you think you need them at. I cut to where I still have about 4 inches to work with before putting on the plates 3. Put you shoes ON, double the elastic over (as shown in the supplied instructions) and then place your plate on. Screw the screw in to hold the plate. Do the other side the same way. Don’t worry about the extra elastic sticking out yet. 4. Adjust the laces to make sure they connect as you wish, the plates lay in the center, etc. If you need to take up more elastic or move the laces around, remove the screw and adjust accordingly. 5. Once you are completely satisfied, THEN cut off the extra elastic under the plates. If you cut off too much of the elastic at first, there is NO way to add it back on. Leaving the elastic a little long while you install them does not affect the install at all and allows for mistakes, especially when doing these for the 1st time. It IS tedious but if you follow these tips, you will want these in ALL your shoes with laces as they just look so much better too. I get sooo many compliments and it is so much easier to just slip on and go. Don’t hesitate to buy!! Well, I feel like I’ve earned a Masters degree in tieless shoelaces after installing these suckers. Definitely not easy. But I do like the finished product & the ease of slipping on my run abouts so if they last, definitely worth it. Just prepare yourself to take it slow & careful & definitely follow the instructions!

These laces were not difficult to thread on the shoes, and it was easy to install the metal clips. The instructions that came with the laces were clear and they even give you a bonus lace in case you mess up cutting the length. I got the length right on my first try. My kiddo has worn the shoes these laces are installed on a few times now, and I am a little disappointed in how easily they come undone. For example, this morning he was climbing around inside the car and the buckle came undone. BUT, even if it comes undone, the lace stays on the shoe and the shoe stays on the foot so… I think ultimately it’s worth the convenience and safety (no risk of tripping on undone laces).

I have a special needs child that can not tie their shoes and these have been a game changer in helping get them ready for school. I have purchased several pairs over the last several years. Only once have I had an issue where a magnet was missing. Easy fix, just had it replaced and I still purchased them again after that for another pair of shoes. My kid loves these as well. They are easy to use. The color never has faded even years later. I’ve reused them on other shoes. I do prefer the screw down clasp over the claw clasp because I can fold the end of the laces over when I use the screw ones to keep from fraying the end of the laces and I cannot do that with the claw clasp.

Bought these for my daughter who is 7. She loves the color. They sent 3 laces so you have an extra which is nice. A few days after wearing them one of the magnets fell out. Super glued it in then another fell out. Not sure if it was the same one but since they are small she lost it at school. Then for sure another fell out. One end that I burned kept slipping so the end piece was falling off. I ended up putting a different type of end to it (draw string clamp) so she can still use the elastic.

LOVE THESE SHOE LACES! They have become my go-to and I have reordered multiple times. Length, size, sturdiness are all great. The little magnetic clips make them super easy to use. Additionally, they feel great when wearing and do not stretch out after long-term use like other elastic shoelaces do. Additionally, I love the way they look. My daughter and I love the rainbow look, what a good way to update some shoes. I got these for my 4yr old because I wanted her to be able to use a pair of lace up high tops by herself at school. They were easy to install, but they're still kind of difficult for her to put on by herself. I think especially for a small shoe (the picture is on a toddler size 11), it's hard to get the right balance of loose enough to get on and off easily while being tight when you're wearing them. I probably used a little more than half of one lace on each shoe. Being high tops doesn't help, but once I got them loose enough so she could get them on by herself, they're still pretty loose when she's walking. However, having the buckle does help with that so I like that feature. Once she gets used to stretching the laces to get the shoe on, maybe I'll try shortening them more. When I first tried to install these, one of the buckle pieces had a bad thread and wouldn't stay on. I contacted the seller and they were amazing at communicating and sent a replacement immediately, even though it had taken me a month since receiving the order to try and use these. That was really impressive and deserves 5 stars, but I still love the laces too.

I love these laces. They are easy to install and so pretty. Makes shoes so much easier. The colors and the bling.

I ordered these laces for VINE reviews. The laces are as expected. The elastic material is good and durable and same like other competitors in the market. It is helpful for my son who does not know how to tie his shoes laces. He always had trouble buying new shoes as he can't tie his laces. But these elastic laces have made our and his life better as now he can choose any shoes and just switch to these elastic laces. The major difference with these laces is after you put these on, you will need to cut the remaining of the laces so that you can pass the ends through provided clips and before doing that, the seller recommends to burn the ends so that the laces will not damage from ends later. Each clip is made of 2 magnetic parts and can easily attract each other. The ends have plastic cover on it as in all laces so these laces will be easy to pass through each shoes hole type. But the process of putting the laces in clips is bit complicated for common users as you need to cut and burn the ends and then put in the clips to tighten it. But what will happen if you cut the laces too short? Then you throw these and order new?
