Works really well for our needs, makes connecting to office screens and network supper easy, although it does need unplugging occasional to rest of it begins to lose the main screen.

Bought at a fraction of Microsoft list price. Allows multiple surface laptops to use the same peripherals on your desk with easy plug in/out. No issue working with Zorin OS 19 too.

I bought the Microsoft Surface Dock (Renewed) and I am very impressed with it. Although it is renewed, it looks and works like new. The build is solid and the design matches the Surface devices perfectly. It makes connecting everything very simple. With one magnetic Surface Connect cable, I can hook up my monitor, keyboard, mouse, and network cable in seconds. The video output is sharp, the USB ports work flawlessly, and the wired internet connection is fast and stable. Having this dock has turned my Surface into a proper desktop set-up while still allowing me to disconnect and use it as a tablet when I need to. It really adds convenience and productivity. The renewed option also makes it excellent value compared to buying brand new. I would recommend it to anyone with a Surface device who wants an easy docking solution.

I originally purchased my Microsoft Surface Go tablet from Amazon’s Refurbished Deals for around £100 and I am extremely pleased with the unit. I also purchased the correct Microsoft magnetic keyboard cover from Ebay for a good price - I decided that I really didn’t need the Microsoft Pen but fancied the Surface Dock Station. The unit arrived in basic packaging and has no issues - either cosmetically or in its function. Again, like the Surface tablet, I purchased this using Amazon’s excellent Refurbished Deals for an excellent price - which in my opinion is worth it just for the additional power supply - the additional ports and connectivity options are simply a bonus. The unit is smaller than as it appears on the web (which isn’t really a bad thing) and all the USB ports appear to work fine and offer full power output for charging additional devices. I was somewhat disappointed to discover that the video output ports require a Mini Display Port plug which is something I don’t currently have but that’s my own fault for not paying more attention to the product page. Not a problem and something that I will purchase when funds allow (along with a multi-port HDMI Switch as I have too many things now connected to my display. When you connect the Surface Dock to the tablet, all the available ports are recognised by Windows. I haven’t experienced any problems so far connecting various USB peripherals to the unit - everything appears to behave as it should. In conclusion I highly recommend the Official Surface Dock Station. It offers truly excellent value for money and as an added bonus, offers four fully functional USB charger sockets for all your various battery-powered devices when not in use. I have yet to try out the video output but don’t anticipate any problems with this. Very highly recommended. An easy five stars.

A good dock which works well. Only supports slow charging on newer Surface products. Good value for money on "refurbished", however, the product does have visual damage and is very clearly second-hand unlike some refurbished products. Easy to use, plug and play. Bit of a weighty power adapter but it does come with one which is great. This is the OLDER mini display port USB A model. NOT the USB-C model, There are no USB-C ports unlike some of the images from customers.

This docking station works perfectly. With the display cables, it perfectly extends or mirrors the my dual screens as expected. Connectivity is seamless and it’s a high quality product.

First off - this is a complete package for your Surface Pro. It comes with the power adaptor as well as the advertised Dock unit (USB hub etc). It was not obviously clear from the images. Second - these are bulky items suited to using as permanent desk units, not for travel. You can get a light travel power adaptor for MS Surface Pro. Third - this was an absolute bargain. I plan to use it by keeping a 2nd set at work, to save me having to carry my travel set into work. I have been using a unit at home, that I bought several years ago that was nearly £100. This it was less than £15, so it was a no-brainer, a bargain. As far as refurbished, it has a few minor marks but nothing significant. Been using it far about a week and no issues. Just not got around to testing every outlet yet. Fingers crossed.
