It works INCREDIBLY WELL mind you it’s for a 450 square foot room and my room is a 120 square feet. My room goes from 71 degrees to the set 63 degrees on the portable air conditioner in about ten minutes or less. It for some reason goes all the way up to 86 Fahrenheit IT IS NOT WARM OR HOT just LUKE warm from 76 to 86 Fahrenheit. The remote works very very well even at an extreme angle it was very easy to set up. I did however need a Dremel which I happened to have to cut the window fitting to be able to fit into my window vertically otherwise it was too long. It’s pretty loud but not to loud. When I turn it on and it’s on high my lights flicker several times at first so I figure it takes a lot of energy. Super super high air flow and blows very very hard!!

Really good deal for the price. I use this in my roughly 300 sq ft bedroom and it cools the space well without any issues. Works exactly as intended and was pretty straightforward to set up. It’s also not nearly as loud as I expected for a portable AC unit, which is nice for people who like to sleep in a quiet space (weirdos).

The unit works good enough, but the problem is the glide you have for the window doesn’t fit all windows. The other problem is one of my casters was screwed too hard and indented the brace so one of the wheels is shorter now.

DO NOT BUY THIS. It broke 1.5 yrs after I bought with only light summer use. Light use meaning infrequent use during June, July & August and then the rest of the time it sat unused in the same room I installed it in. During its last week of functioning (June 1st - 4th) it started to shake the whole machine when the condenser would engage which I thought was weird, but it kept blowing out cold air so I didn’t think much about it. It worked ok this morning (June 4th 2026) when I used it for a while and then turned it off as I was leaving for the day to do other things. Upon my return this evening I turned it on and all it did was blow hot air, the condenser refused to engage. Trouble shooting didn’t seem to effect anything so now I just have this $400 fan that I now will need to pay to throw away/recycle as no one will take it otherwise due to the condenser chemicals. So now I’m hot and pissed, great combo when it’s 90 plus degrees inside my house. Save yourself time and money and get something else.

So far great! Experiencing my first PNW summer where most apartments do NOT have AC because there did t used to be a need. Thanks to climate chance, we now see days in and above 90°. With big west facing windows, by mid afternoon my 2 bar, 1100 sf apartment was baking. I left TX to escape this kind of weather. This unit cools our large living g room, and fans bring the cool air back to the bedrooms at night. Great price, easy set up. Definitely get a hose wrap because the hose gets super hot and pumps that heat into the air.

I bought this to add to my hurricane preparedness collection however 1 week after I bought it, my main AC broke, for 36 hrs. I placed this unit in our central main open space, plus the master bedroom and a guest room were left open, it was vented outside my sliding glass door, with two floor fans on low, knowing it was way too large of a space but having older rescue dogs, we did it anyway. We were able to maintain a comfy. temp of 78, I was amazed, dumfounded! It ended up running for almost 32 hrs, no problem. I was not expecting this to be such a good product and now that I can depend on it, I can worriless, it is nice to be able to trust as a solid back up option. I ran it for the whole 32 hrs, temp inside was maintained at a cool 78, with two fans to help circulation. It is not the quietest but not annoying. I woke up many times, during that first night to check the unit, thinking it was too good to be true, but it did not let me down. I keep it in my kitchen area, using the strong fan option on occasion, when I am cooking, baking or working on a project, and can flip it on AC if If I choose to. If you are looking for great interior AC for a good price, you can depend on this is it. Used for my living room give or take, pretty strong compared to others I’ve had in the past swing feature is good, also not as loud as others as well, so far so good , remote works well, cools fairly quick, and also shows you th room temp even when shut off pretty cool lil feat… although it has been cold lately so we’ll see how it is come summer time!
