Excellent quality snap caps
These were the first snap caps I've ever purchased. I was initially turned off by these because of the price, but after reading reviews of other products that mentioned chipping/flaking of the paint on the caps, I decided to go with these instead. I didn't want to deal with having to clean paint chips from my gun. The caps themselves are very well made; the casing itself is indistinguishable from an actual round and each cap has a nice weight to it (slightly lighter than my 115 grain live rounds). Aesthetically, they look very nice, and the colored rubber tips make it clear that you're using dummy rounds. In terms of use, these functioned extremely well. They extracted from my PX4 Storm without issue - in fact, better than the cheap live ammo that I've been using lately. After I got back from the range, I didn't see any chipping from the rounds and they were still in excellent shape with the exception of some carbon on the "bullet" portion of the caps (made more visible by the fact that I went for the white tips). Time will tell how long they last, but just based on the build quality I suspect they'll last a while. They look extremely nice, have a weight and feel similar to an actual round, and perform just like an actual live round - excepting the "boom," of course. I have nothing to compare these to, but I'm extremely happy with what I got. If you're a little concerned about the price compared to other offerings on Amazon - as I was - don't be. I'd much rather pay a few bucks more for a quality product that won't degrade with only a few uses. Thanks, B - you've made an excellent product.

All Ten Were Duds.
I thought it would be cool to have blue bullets even if they were a little expensive, but all ten were duds. Seriously, these are Snap Caps, for practice. (This review is directed toward novice shooters. Thereโs plenty of information elsewhere on the page for the experienced shooter). It is widely believed that it is not good for the weapon to โdry fireโ it, which is to let the hammer fall on an empty chamber. These Snap Caps solve that problem, and solve it better than inert or โdummy rounds.โ The Snap Caps have a white plastic insert in the center of the rim of the cartridge where the primer would be. Instead of a โdry fireโ the hammer will strike the softer white plastic insert. Of course, you should still treat the weapon as if is loaded with a live round, and point it in the safest possible direction. They are useful for every situation in which you want to practice operating the weapon, but do not want or need live rounds. For example, if you have a new weapon or user and want to practice operating the weapon, inserting a magazine, chambering a round, releasing the safety, decocking a hammer, ejecting the magazine, and clearing the chamber. You can practice your stance, drawing the weapon, aiming, and pulling the trigger (see โdry fireโ discussion, below). All of these are best done with dummy rounds (but following normal safety procedures). Although a rare occurrence, in 1979 I had a WW II Sauer 7.65 mm pistol discharge into the floor when the safety was released. Fortunately, shag carpeting hides a lot. The most significant danger using Snap Caps is that an ejected cartridge can roll under a piece of furniture, where it may be hard to retrieve. Great suggestion from A. Miner: Mix one or two in a magazine and get practice dealing with FTE/FTF (failure to eject/failure to feed) situations. The colored โbulletโ will make it easier to find the ejected Snap Cap on the floor. (Note: Some target ranges do not allow shooters to pick up brass that has hit the floor). You can use the Snap Caps to practice reloading a magazine. I used them to practice with the Maglula UpLULA magazine loader, a handy device also available on Amazon. Another advantage of Snap Caps, if you are interrupted by the phone or doorbell, you can respond without concern that you are leaving a loaded magazine around. The Bโs Dry Fire Snap Caps have the feel of live rounds. The weight is the same, and the brass cartridge functions like a live round. The blue color makes it obvious that you are not working with a live round, as does the white plastic piece on the back of the cartridge. Unlike plastic practice rounds, they do not flake off with use. They come in a decent little plastic case that snaps shut.

Good product๐๐ป
Good attractive product. Clear markings to avoid any accidents. Handles like the real thing. Obviously, they are in Eric and therefore you donโt get any blow back to load the next round. You have to cycle them manually. (I write that because some people are not educated in the use of snap caps.). For those of you who donโt know, there are three primary things to focus on when it comes to being a better shooter. One is familiarity with the weapon youโre handling. Too, the tactile feel and kick back from firing your weapon. Being able to regain, your target in quickly and fire the next round. However, lastly, there are the basic mechanics. Proper grip, breath, trigger squeeze. Attaining in holding a good sight picture. Even cycling your rounds in the event of a jam. That is where the beauty of this product comes in. It allows you to practice your basic mechanics without having to go to the range all the time. Again, great product does exactly what it is advertised to do. ๐๐ป

Close weight to live rounds, great for practice
These were the first snap caps I have ever purchased, and I'm glad I went with these. When I went for my first training class, I noticed the red snap caps they had were both very light and chipping like crazy. The instructor suggested these for home practice. I'm new to carrying and wanted something safe, but as close to the real weight as possible for practice and this was the right call. They are very close, if not the exact same weight as live ammo and it really helps with practicing dry fire drills, testing holsters and retention, and simply getting used to carrying the fully loaded weight. The blue tip and white primer end make these easy to distinguish from regular ammo. These have ejected with no issues during my practice and so far I show no signs of damage to my gun or the snap caps themselves. I'm very happy with these. I'll likely be getting a second pack so I can fully load a larger magazine for practice as well.

A little pricey
Overall I like the product. They are close enough to the weight (never put in a scale) and they feed well enough. They do jam up rarely, but my honest answer is good, isnโt fixing jams also the point of practice? I wish they came in larger bundles, as to meet real world weight for a lot of people is 30-45 rounds.

They fit moonclips
I really like these, they are some of the only dummy rounds I could find that were actual size and had good protection for the firing pin, plus they are perfectly weighted so practicing reloads feel like the real thing and the actual size makes them work with moonclips, they are chipped on the paint but I have hundreds of reload drills on them so its expected. I would say they are worth the money.

The best combination snap-cap/dummy round I've ever used, by far.
I do a lot of dry-fire drills, so I cycle a lot of snap-caps and dummy rounds in my firearms. These are the best of both worlds for snap-caps and dummy rounds that I've come across, and I've literally worn out hundreds of rounds with my drilling. These rounds especially impressed me, because I needed them to test a custom 9mm conversion barrel in a Glock 29SF, which is normally chambered in 10mm, so this unusual modification made me expect some feeding difficulties when I hand cycled the rounds. Nope. These functioned flawlessly, feeding even better than some of the deactivated live rounds that I have tried. The paint is excellent in that it guarantees that you know you are using non-live ammunition, and even though it will eventually wear off, that's not a big deal. The lead bullet gives the rounds accurate weight, and most important they don't get set back like deactivated live rounds eventually will. Plus, the snap-cap helps protect the firing pin from any damage, which is always a good thing. The only "complaint" that I have with these is that they are only available in 9mm for pistols. If they were available in other calibers, such as 10mm or .40 S&W (or .357 SIG and 9x25 Dillon, since I shoot those as well), I'd buy a couple of sets for each caliber.

Best snap caps for dry fire training
These are somewhat expensive per round, but they are the best snap caps for dry fire training. The weight of each round is exactly the same as a live round, which makes dry fire magazine and firearm handling very similar to live fire. So most of the fundamentals can be practiced at home. The fit and finish are excellent. These are nickle/brass cases that should last for years.

These are the best dummy rounds I have ever used. The quality is fantastic and I will definitely be ordering more products from this manufacturer.

Work well in a 9mm PCC
They do the job well. I can let other less experienced people handle my firearms without fearing an accident. They do look quite similar to the Federal Defense rounds, so you have to be careful. Would be a 5/5 if they didn't look so real.
