Lightning Cable, Anker 180 Degree Right Angle USB A to Lightning Gaming Cord, Compatible with iPhone 11 11 Pro Max Xs MAX XR X 8 7 6S 6 5 (3ft)

I bought this cable to connect to my drone controller to keep the cable clear of catching on my hand when holding the controller and iPad together. It's excellent the 180 degree turn of the lightning connector is solid and sturdy, and the cable is flat profile so perfect for the job. Have only been using it a few days, but have given 5 stars for durability as I have had numerous Anker cables which have been in use for extended periods with no issues, and the build quality and materials of this cable appear no different to any other Anker products I have, so I have no reason to doubt its reliability. In any case, it's backed by the Anker warranty (not that I've ever had to use it) Price wise, you get what you pay for - not only the unique shape of this particular cable which was exactly what I wanted, but it's very easy to be drawn to the cheap option only to find it breaks, or worse, damages your device, hence for what it is, 5 stars for value. The only downside for me (but which is nothing to do wit the product itself) is that it's 3ft long, so I have to coil it up behind the controller - but there doesn't seem to be any shorter version available, but that's a specific gripe with my specific usage and no reflection on the quality of the product. Highly recommended for drone controller connections (in my case Mavic Pro to iPad Mini which is so much better and less cumbersome than a straight cable which gets right in the way) but equally for iPhone / iPad gamers who want unhindered access to hold the device normally whilst playing and charging.

I have purchased anker 90 degrees charger before and had no problem. However this time round when I opened the package and unsealed the box, the charger was missing. Frustrating UPDATE -Anker kindly contacted me, apologised and offered full refund. I hope they resolved the issue. I appreciate the effort.Thank you again.

This is a well made cable as expected from anker. But, I had not considered that It will not fit if your phone or iPad if it is in a case, you need to remove the phone from the case to use.

Haven’t had it very long but it seems to be of very good quality and I’m sure it will lasts a lot longer than other cables I’ve had in the past, including the original

I expected the cable to be longer. Hard to have it connected to power and on your phone on the same time, without being close.

Awful! Got 3 months use out of this cable and now it refuses to charge an iPhone 6S and iPhone XS. I bought this specifically because I thought it's design would result in less strain put on the Lightning connector when it was being used as it charged but it would seem this was a complete and utter waste of time and money and conveniently it is now too late to return it! The whole Apple Lightning charger industry is one massive con and should be investigated by Trading Standards. I though I could trust a brand like Anker because I've bought from them before and they're usually quite reliable and competitively priced but in terms of cables it would seem they're at it the same as everyone else. A real shame.... Update: Anker replaced this cable under their warranty (customer support was really good). Update #2 the replacement cable broke apart literally within weeks, so the only conclusion I can make is that the design and build of this cable is totally substandard and certainly NOT worth the premium price of £10! Save your money and avoid...
