APC UPS Battery Replacement, RBC48 Smart-UPS SMT750, SMT750US, SUA750 and Select Others

I purchased this unit to replace the original batteries in my APC Smart UPS 750 that I've had for many years. The replacement batteries were easy to install and resolved the problem immediately. Unfortunately, the replacement batteries failed about a year in a half later. (Purchased September 2021, failed May 2023.) But, I called APC and they sent me a replacement under warranty with my proof of purchase from Amazon. I am very happy with that outcome, and would absolutely buy a new Smart UPS or another set of replacement batteries from APC again in the future.

After 4+ years of using an APC UPS as a backup for my pellet stove, I started getting the Replace Battery alert. I wanted the OEM APC battery but it was backordered so I tried a generic replacement. The generic was defective and couldnt power the stove fan for more than a few minutes. The OEM could run it 45 mins. Returned the generic. Popped in the APC OEM into the UPC in less than 2 minutes and UPS now runs perfectly again.

Perfect 1 to 1 replacement for our SMT750. Installed easily and was recognized instantly. Also qualifies you to request a free shipping label from APC to recycle your old battery properly, which is easy to do using the box this comes in.

I bought this battery at the end of 11/2017 and installed it in 12/2017 to replace the same battery we had installed 4 years prior. We had a power outage last week, 3/2018, where this battery went completely dead. "Great", I thought to myself, "This is designed to keep things running in case of a power outage. I am glad I had this!" WRONG! During the power outage, the UPS went completely dead. This is not the UPS fault, as it is designed to last only so long. BUT, after the power was restored, the unit is now saying to replace the battery (it did not say that before we had the power outage). So either the battery only lasted 4 months, or after one complete discharge cycle, the battery is completely worthless. Either way, what the heck APC? Really? What is the point of buying a battery powered backup power supply if the battery is completely worthless after 1 power outage?! Or even worse, after only 4 months of service?! I would suggest going with a different brand, or depending on the frequency of your power outages, buying a generator. It would probably be cheaper in the long than having to buy a new battery after every power outage.

I went with an off brand to save a bit of cash and that was a mistake. Runtime was cut by half and the batteries lasted less than a year. This time I ordered these batteries and with the harness already installed, it was very simple to swap them out. So my 10 year old SUA750 is back online and running smoothly. I just hope they last for over 2 years.

Came as pictured. This is a genuine APC replacement battery. Installation time took shorter than it did to unpack it. Came with APC battery test report and was fully charged. I can not report on battery life As I have had it only 1day. Price was better than on APC website at time of purchase. I fully expect to last as long as the Original.

Got the dreaded replace battery light and just purchased a new UPS. This unit sat around until I needed it and I purchased this battery. Got my old UPS going again.

Worked to replace the expired battery in my APC UPS, only minor issue is the flap of plastic that makes battery removal from the UPS easier was on the wrong end of the battery, doesn't cause an issue for use but may make replacement next time more difficult.

I like things to be simple and straightforward, so didn't mind paying more for an OEM battery with all the connectors ready in position. As others mentioned, didn't need to turn unit off at all (my UPS powers two servers I was loathe to shut down). Simply remove the front panel, pull out the stoppers to release the inner cage panel, slide out the battery and slide in the new one job done. Takes 2 mins. The unit beeps and then starts charging the new battery. My servers never missed a beat in the whole operation.

Cette batterie de remplacement permet de récupérer l'autonomie initiale de l'onduleur sur batterie. J'ai remplacé la batterie de mon onduleur APC Smart-UPS 750 avec cette batterie quatre ans après l'achat de l'onduleur car la batterie ne tenait plus que la moitié de la durée initiale. Il faut bien lire la notice pour comprendre comment la remplacer par la face avant de l'onduleur. Le mécanisme est ingénieux mais pas intuitif. Après ce remplacement, l'appareil était comme neuf.

La batteria originale è durata 5 anni per la mia ups APC Smart UPS 750, ottimo prodotto, speriamo che duri altrattanto.
