RVGUARD RV Stack Jacks 4 Pack, 6000 Lbs Aluminum Stabilizer Jacks

I bought these for something they were probably not intended for. I built a solar panel array and needed some support in the middle of each cross member due to high weight of the solar panels. The 2 inch pipe was slightly bending and they just needed a little support. I installed these jack stands at exactly the middle point of each pipe cross member. They fit perfectly, provided the support needed and they will serve a long life there. The jack stands are terrific quality, super light weight and can really support a lot of weight. They are rated at 6000 lbs. Much more than I need, but glad to know they are strong. The aluminum being corrosion resistant should hold up for many years, however the screw jack and nut are steel and will surely rust fairly quickly. I gave them a good coating of grease before subjecting them to the elements. The four pack make them a super value for the price. I recommend them for general use jack stands and for RV'ing as well. I have an RV, and these are so light they make a great take along for stabilizing your RV. They get 5 stars from me.

These can be a bit of a pain to get set up, since the threaded rod is not permanently attached to the base. But once you get them to the right height, tightening them up is pretty easy, and they do stay in place. I use stabilizer blocks for each of mine. Since they're small and stackable, I'm able to put them in a medium sized tub for storage. Assembly is easy, the rod just drops straight into the base. I would recommend a bit of gorilla glue to adhere the rubber caps to the rod. They fall off pretty easily, and can get lost, especially in the dark. The metal isn't the strongest, but they'll do the job for stabilizing an RV. The upside is that they're light and easy to move around, easily adjustable once in place, and they don't add a lot of unnecessary weight to my payload. I would not recommend they be used at more than about 2/3 of their maximum height, as the threaded rod starts to get a little unstable in the base if it's any higher. Definitely use some stabilizer pads or blocks to make up the extra height.

We have a 24 foot camper trailer that we use several times a year. One of the only things That bothers me is the camper rocks or moves when someone walks around. Its not a high-end camper and the adjustable stability supports aren't the best. I ordered the supports and I am writing this review in our camper in bed. Part of the reason our camper tends to rock is that the wheels are on suspension springs and no matter how secure the corner supports are, the camper will still bounce and move on those springs. I engaged the equipped corner supports and used the 4 I am reviewing on both sides of the wheels. 2 on each side. The camper frame runs the length of the camper on both sides. This has greatly improved the amount of movement of the camper. These supports are light but strong and stable. They are very easy to adjust and easy to tighten simple but very effective design. Everything is included and easy to set up. They are a little short for reaching the camper frame but small sections of 2x4 easily solved the issue. Pleasantly surprised that these supports work so well at a very reasonable price.

Nice jacks for stability on the fifth wheel. Rubber cap is a nice touch.

Ordered in March to level my trailer. Finally opened the trailer up this weekend and while it has the four bases, it only came with 2 screw jacks. Very annoying, and worse yet I missed the return date by a week. Absolute waste of money.
