This saved my OXO Coffee Grinder from the trash heap. It was clogged and the grinder was greasy. Went through the hacks on cleaning the grinder using the brush and going underneath to clean the fine clump of coffee out of the chamber using a zip tie and getting into all the nooks and crannies. Washed the washable parts and brushed out all that can be brushed out. Everything is clean.Now here comes the Urnex Grindz tablets.I wasn't sure if this was going to work but followed the instructions: put in 35 grams of coffee and ground that through the hopper. The white power came out extremely fine along with some of the old coffee grinds. Did it again and more power and old coffee came out. It was very clean. Re-washed all the washable parts. Ground about 20 grams of coffee and dumped it; ran another 20 grams of coffee and ground that.Then grinding fresh coffee to brew came out perfect. It didn't feel like the old machine and the grounds came out smoothly. Ground 45 grams to make a small pot and the grounds came out smoothly. So the Oxo survived and working as if it was brand new. Works better than ever. Great cleaning tablets and well worth the money and effort to renew the grinder.

Product works great helps with the oil build up of the coffee beans

Works like it should. It cleans the oils and the old coffee grind out. But it does not take replace of a full brake down to clean the grinder. I think it is worth the money. It keeps you from doing a deep clean more often.

I use this frequently because I like dark roast coffee that looks ily and shiny. Yes, this is unfashionable but it tastes ,like coffee and not like blueberries or plums. Anyway, the Grindz takes all the oils away. I still lift out the conical burrs and rubber seal and clean those also, and wash the hopper and the catcher, but then after the beads have removed all traces of oil I grind up about 10 g of sacrificial beans just to make sure no wax is still there, and check grind size calibration, and I'm good for two months.

After brushing and cleaning the burrs, I used a little of this. It's wonderful for cleaning remaining residue!

I had read about these from a few coffee experts. I was a little skeptical that they would work and not leave any weird taste or odor behind. I can say both are true. We use our burr grinder a lot. We drink 1-2 pots of coffee a day in my house and only grind our own beans. These cleaning tablets - and you don't need many to do the job - clean the grinder beautifully. It also looked new once we were done. I've just gotten in the habit of cleaning our grinder with these on a regular schedule when we descale our coffee pot.

I used it to clean my Breville barista express after putting a few hoppers full of oily beans through the grinder. it seemed to pull out a lot of residue and worked very well for its intended purpose. I recommend this product.
