Nice n simple, high humidity output
Love this little thing. What's great about it is the simplicity of the electronics inside, the only thing that dictates if it's on or off is the dial, no stupid button. This lets me set it up to a smart outlet (govee is easiest to use imo and the outlets are a game changer trust me) and have it turn on and off automatically, the dial remains on full blast. The ones with buttons have to manually be turned on every time they lose power and are powered back up. My only complaints are how often I refill and the insanely bright indicator. I put electrical tape and its not even noticable now. For the capacity issue, I'll be modifying it to have a water inlet to pump water into it

Nice little humidifier, works well
In a small room or bedroom, this humidifier works quite well. Running it at or very near to its highest output make a measurable increase in room humidity over the course of 8-hours (which is about the full capacity before needing to refill). My room was getting very dry, about 30% humidity, and running this humidifier with the door closed raised the humidity to 38% in 8 hours (roughly 1% per hour). Running it continuously, refillin every 8 hours, brought the humidity to close to 50% by the next day. It's not a big deal for me to refill it but if that's something you don't want to worry about, I'd suggest a larger capacity humidifier. It seems durable and well made overall and operates fairly quietly, no louder than a white noise machine on a very low setting. For the price, this is an excellent option and does it's job as it should. Recommend

Have plenty of towels handy when you need to refill this!
Overall, I like this humidifier because it's quiet and works well, and is a good value. Pros: Very quiet; runs almost 24 hours on the lowest setting Cons: There's no way to refill it without water leaking everywhere; the white light is blinding in a dark room; hard to clean; can't use essential oils. The first time I tried to refill this I removed the cannister and water leaked all over the table and floor. The next time I carefully removed the cannister and turned it upside down before moving it, and the same thing happened. Now I come armed with a few towels to catch the leakage. I've only refilled it when the red light, meaning it is out of water, was on for at least an hour. I find it hard to clean, as well. For now I spritz a little vinegar into it, add water, and slosh it around a bit. I'm not sure it it's doing the job. The instructions are very vague.

Great product at a great price
This humidifier is simple and does exactly what it needs to do. It doesn't have any fancy features or bells and whistles, just a single reservoir and a single rotating knob to set the humidity level. I've only had it about a week, but I've been using it consistently every night (one full reservoir lasts 2 nights at the med-low setting I use) and it's helped a lot with my nose and throat in the morning when having the heat on all night. I no longer wake up with a dry, sore nose. This is the first humidifier I've ever used, so I can't compare it to others. It does make a noticeable noise level, but it's steady and low, so I think it wouldn't bother most people as it basically doubles as a white noise machine. However, if you're extremely sensitive to noise at night, this might be distracting. Then again, probably any humidifier would be. My only complaint is a small nitpick- the light above the knob is a very bright pale white. I'm super sensitive to light at night. I put a couple of small pieces of duct tape over it and it works to dim the light level just fine. It doesn't look amazing, but it works just fine, and I have the humidifier tucked in next to a houseplant anyways, so it's not noticeable. Overall, a great product so far!

Decent but can be noisy
So, like many people, I've been suffering from some dried, cracked skin and decided to try a humidifier. I'd liked what I'd read about this one, so I decided to give it a try. While I agree with some of the positives some people have said, there are also some negatives I agree with also. First, I've not had a humidifier before, so I can't and won't be comparing this to how others work. But I do not consider this difficult to fill. Maybe it's a little inconvenient since it does fill from the bottom so I do it in the kitchen sink, but I don't consider it a big deal. Initially I experienced some leaking while figuring out this whole process, but it didn't take long to figure out the trick to minimize spillage. The condensation from the adjustable nozzle spray is a thing that exists, but I can handle a few drops of water if I'm not careful about when and where I remove that. Placing the tank back on the base proved tricky at first until I realized each aspect has an arrow that line up with each other. Line them up, bam, easy-peasy. It shouldn't be difficult for anyone to reassemble when you find the arrows. For me, the base does fill with water when replacing the tank. I don't know if this is intended as a necessary step for how the device works or not, but it did alarm me initially. But now, every time I replace the tank, you can hear the water glugging as it fills the base that I empty each time I refill the tank. As for the bright light some people report, I don't think it's that bright but I also do not sleep at night (I work night shift) so the light doesn't affect me. Now on to my two biggest issues. I have had this less than two weeks and was unsure if it was actually effective for my living room, which is not that big. I have a semi-open but not very large floor plan so that my dinette area is next to the living room and the kitchen is close by as well. So I bought a hygrometer to determine the humidity level. I feel one or the other is not effective, as the humidity has never gone above 39% despite me having the humidifier on at least medium pretty constantly. Just seems to me the humidity should sometimes go higher, but I do not know what exactly is going on, so I am not pinning that on this humidifier at this juncture. My main issue is this humidifier was *initially* whisper-quiet. After just a few days, however, not even a month or two like some people have reported, I started experiencing the very loud, grinding, whirring noise. When I investigated, my initial thought was it was due to the aforementioned water in the base that, at the time, I was (and still am, as I said) unsure if that was by design or not. So I emptied the base, replaced the tank, only for the glugging sound to occur again as the base refilled with water. I don't know how else to troubleshoot the sound noise, but I can say when mine runs for a while at that grating sound, it will usually "get it out of its system" and return to being a whisper-quiet machine. As I write this, it just did that, in fact, after, frankly, maybe an hour of whirring away at an alarmingly loud rate. Bottom line is I do not think this is as difficult a machine to fill and use as some people think, but the whirring noise issue is an issue that I don't know how to solve, and I will honestly be investigating into trying a different humidifier. If you're lucky enough to avoid having the sound issue, I feel it is likely an effective machine.

Whisper quiet
Quiet and works great. We specifically purchased due to specs stating it was quiet. I can use this by my office desk and it is so whisper quiet no one knows itโs on.

Don't get this for night time, bedside use
First things first, this is a perfectly adequate humidifier. It's even better than adequate. One fill on the tank can last a few nights, depending on how strong you want to run it. However, there are two pretty big flaws that prevented me from giving it a full five stars. The first issue is with the brightness of the "on" light. It's a very bright blue light that can light up a whole wall. If you place this on your nightstand, like I do, you'll find yourself taping over the light with black electrical tape or covering it with a book or angling it against the wall so that you can sleep. If the light wasn't so bright, I wouldn't even hesitate to give it five stars because the other issue wouldn't bother me enough to take points away. The second issue is small. When you're refilling the tank, you will inevitably leak water all over whatever is around it or in your way. This is because of the way the humidifier is designed. They sacrificed function for form here. It wouldn't be aesthetically pleasing to have a way to fill the tank at the top, so they put it on the bottom. This gives the humidifier a sleek look, but it also makes you leak water when you go to refill the tank. I originally wrote this as a 3-star review, but mere months later it has now started making an awful, loud noise. It sounds as if the gears are grinding in the motor. Whether or not this means the motor is dying out or what, I don't know. But I'd avoid this humidifier by all means.

I like it so much, I bought a second one!
Let me just start off by saying: I live in Las Vegas Nevada, which is notorious for having very low humidity. Last week, outdoor humidity was like 5%. I am very pleased with using this product. I knew my home humidity (approx 490sqft) was poor due to the environment I lived in; and at some point I needed to get one. Well, I came across this one, read the good reviews, and bought it. At the price point, this product is really worth it. The black design is sleek and can fit anywhere in my home without looking out of place. The humidifier is very quiet when running. I love the physical knob to control the flow (not a fan of those single Low/High buttons). The size is perfect for a desk or a night stand. The mist is GREAT! Turn it up all the way and it really mists a lot! If I had to say 2 cons though: 1.) it would be the lack of securing the water tank onto its base 2.) the indicator light is very bright. Sometimes, I'm afraid of bumping into the thing and the tank falls off. I wish there was a latch or lock on the base that keeps the tank secured. With the indicator light, it can be distracting at night time because its so bright - but I can put tape to cover it, so no big deal. Overall, great product. I bought a second one- one for my bedroom and one for my living room. Highly recommend this product for someone who is looking to get a humidifier and doesn't want to spend too much. Budget friendly, in my opinion.
