Great set, not as good as the colour reveal cars as they are metalic this is more plastic but still hot wheels, colour changing works well when it's ice water it doesn't work well with just cold water.

I was a bit hesitant to buy these based on some of the reviews but this has made me want to leave my own. We received a pack of 5 quickly as expected, the packaging was pretty minimal (as other reviews have said and also pictured) but the cars were all there. We didn't get the first set pictured which I was happy about as we already had one of the cars in that pack. Some reviews mention the cars don't work, or they are really light or poor quality but all of our 5 cars DO work and DO colour change. The weight of the cars differ between the designs but that is same of all the hot wheels cars. Overall really pleased, received 5 cars that do colour change and ones that I couldn't buy or see in the shops, so have a very happy little boy.

Good product, the packaging looks like it was printed and put over. Normally the hotwheels cars iv bought before come in a proper box. This has cardboard cut out and folded over the plastic mould the cars come in. So not exactly a normal hotwheels box.

He loved the cars which I got for his birthday to accompany the Hotwheels car wash. He loved it!! Only dislike was the packaging it came in. Half a box, plastic insert for the cars and placed inside a brown cardboard box. Not the most exciting for a 6 year old, but the cars are fab

At first we thought only 1/5 cars worked because only one changed colour in cold tap water. But, four days after Christmas we had the idea to try putting ice in the water, like we saw a kid do on Youtube, and lo and behold they all work! We were dissapointed and annoyed for nearly a week. It would be nice if the box clearly stated to use ice water to change the colours. Now that we know how they work, my son is thrilled!

TBH, I'm quite disappointed, these Ht Wheels aren't a patch on what they used to be. The quality they built their reputation on is no longer there, just very very cheep now.

The 3-box 5-pack is nice and well priced. I'm not giving it 5* because the more recent hot wheels cars have lower quality compared to previous generations (still better than most of the competition, though)

Cars look old and one has a significant defect. My son thought I bought these from a thrift store and was unhappy. If you are looking to gift these to someone, do note that they do not come with the original sealed box packaging but just an opened plastic tray.
