The best CPAP mask system, and the only one that works for me
Some history for context (skip 2 paragraphs to get to the Bleep): I've had the usual sleep apnea symptoms (headache, brain fog, short term memory loss) for the past 3 years, was first diagnosed and tried CPAP with the default settings (APAP 4-20, FLEX level 2) and the DME just gave me a ResMed F20 mask without explaining the different mask types or anything. I used the CPAP and didn't experience any improvement, but I saw some forum users say it took them a few months so I kept trying. But after 8 months and zero improvement, I told the doctor that and that's when he told me to stop using CPAP, so I did stop for a year and a half. My health continued to decline during that time. It got so bad I felt like I had to try the CPAP again, but again felt zero improvement, and that's when I found Lanky Lefty videos and made pressure settings adjustments, turned FLEX/EPR off, and added the cervical collar, and finally, I felt the tiniest hint of improvement for the first time ever in 3 years. After watching those videos I realized how important the mask was, so I started looking into several masks to find what would work for me. I tried several other masks too (F30i, N30i, P30i), but I saw some folks raving about the Bleep on cpaptalk forums and I decided to give that a try. On the Bleep itself: The Bleep system is unlike any other CPAP mask system, so it has a learning curve. I suggest starting with Bleep's instructional video on Youtube. For several nights I had difficulty getting the adhesive to stay on all night, so I contacted Stuart from Bleep and got the best customer service I could possibly ask for. He responded immediately and gave me several things to try. I tried his suggestions and found success that same night. Here's what ended up working for me: 1. Prep the skin with 70% isopropyl alcohol on the nose and around it. Wipe it immediately to dry. 2. Apply Smith & Nephew Skin-Prepยฎ Protective Barrier Wipes around the nose as well. Give it a minute and let it dry on its own so that the protective barrier forms. 3. Trim the ends of the Dreamports off, then apply the Dreamports according to Bleep's instructions, making sure there are no air gaps or creases - if there are, that will definitely result in a leak at some point during the night. 4. Use Hypafix Retention Tape to reinforce the Dreamports. Again make sure there are no air gaps or creases. Currently I'm using 4 pieces of tape on all 4 sides around the Dreamports, which might be overkill but it definitely works. The hypafix is much stronger adhesive, and that's why the skin prep barrier in step 2 is necessary - without it the adhesive is too strong for the skin and can harm the skin when removing it. The result with Bleep? Better AHI results that don't need as much pressure. See the attached images for screenshots of OSCAR software - the data speaks for itself and in particular, the complete absence of unintentional leaks from the Bleep system is incredible. More importantly, I do feel noticeable improvements in the morning and throughout the day. I finally feel like CPAP is working and, while I still have all of those symptoms at the moment, I do feel confident that I will recover within the next few months or so. At this point, while playing with pressure settings I'm just trying to squeeze out the last bit of performance to get even better sleep if I can. The good thing is that even while playing with settings and searching for improvement, I've never had a bad night with Bleep since I made the adjustments that Stuart suggested. Every night for the past few nights with Bleep has been pretty good, much better than the best nights with any other mask, so even if I don't find the absolute best settings, I still feel like I'm making slow but certain progress towards recovery. Unfortunately too many doctors and DMEs don't have time for you (after taking your money) so if your CPAP treatment isn't going well you get thrown under the bus, so sleep apnea patients are on their own. My experience with my sleep doctor and DME misled me to believe that CPAP doesn't work for me, and I ended up suffering for a lot longer than I needed to. Fortunately Lanky Lefty and Stuart from Bleep are better than most sleep doctors - they're more knowledgeable about CPAP treatment, actually care about people with sleep apnea and give them the time of day, and will work with them until they reach a solution. The setup for Bleep might look intimidating or not worth the hassle. But it only feels that way for the first few nights. After building habits, it's really quite easy, and I don't mind it at all knowing that it will give me the quality sleep I haven't been able to get in so long. And one tradeoff is that the Dreamports being disposable means there's one less thing to clean. Constantly needing to buy Dreamports might be another thing that turns users away, worried that it's too expensive. But as Bleep is objectively better than any other CPAP mask system out there, and the only one where I have felt noticeable improvements, I don't feel the price is too high at all. The real waste of money was the doctors and DMEs who took my money and misled me into believing CPAP couldn't work for me, only to let my health continue to decline with no help or answers. I can't thank Stuart enough for developing this product, I really don't know what I would do without it.

tubing works with RESMED Airsense 11, but....
I have a RESMED Airsense 11 and the Bleep tubing does work with it. The tubing just fits into the existing tubing using a little plastic piece. Keep in mind that with the Airsense 11, the tube is always coming out of the top of your head. This system makes the tube come off your nose...a whole different setup. I sleep in the "prayer" position with my hands under the side of my face and I got tangled in the hose quite a bit. While the tubing fits, it's a short piece of tubing and no where near worth the price they are charging for it....especially as tubing has to be changed out periodically. I cannot see myself continuing to use this system for a few reasons, and cost is a LARGE factor. My second issue is those nose pieces. I want to love this system, it makes so much more sense to me then what I've been using, but I can't get them to work. I have read the directions, watched the video's, etc. and I don't see where I'm doing anything wrong but I simply cannot get a tight seal that lasts. My problem appears to be the width of my septum, lol. When I put the first port on, the adhesive around it is so wide it not only covers my septum, but protrudes over the other nostril. Then when I try to put the second port on, instead of sticking to skin, it's sticking to the first port and won't make a tight seal. In my pictures I'm trying to show you how they overlap. I originally tried the 10 and 2 position they tell you to use and it just wasn't working. So then I looked at the adhesive surrounding the ports, tried to find the narrowest part, and tried to align them so that the least amount of adhesive went over my septum but it still caused the same issue. I bought the witch hazel wipes they suggest and tried wiping the top of the adhesive on the first one so that the second one would stick to it but there's always this tiny gap where air gets out. I've never been told I had an unusually small nose, lol, so I'm not sure if it's that or something I'm doing wrong. Problem is that every night I try again, I end up wasting a set of ports. I wasted half of these constantly trying to get them to seal and then gave up. At $1 a night for the ports, and over $50 for a new hose every time, coupled with my inability to get a tight seal over my septum, I'm not a fan.

Ridiculous price
This is the best system I have found for cpap usage. It eliminates the facial marks from straps. It took almost a year of using this system for those depressions and color differences on my face to go away. I have a problem with pricing though. This connector kit in particular is EXORBITANTLY over priced. It is clearly being used as a way to take advantage of the user. There is absolutely no reason other than greed that this item should cost over $50. This item is at best made from $5 worth of plastic using injection molding processes. Even if I'm wrong and it cost $20 for materials and labor a $57 price is a gross profit and unethical. Yes, I'm paying it because there is no other choice, but I won't forget this ridiculousness and when there is another choice I can guarantee that I will move on and not return. Thanks for the great product but I should be able to affordits use and not hold onto worn out equipment because replacement pieces are over priced.

Comfortable, No Leaks, No Headgear
I recently started CPAP therapy and have been experimenting with different masks over the last several months. I originally landed on one with the typical headgear. It left marks on my face depending on how I slept and sometimes woke me from leaks, but it was better than any of the others I had tried and, to that point, seemed like a great option. I originally bought the Bleep DreamWay connector kit and DreamPorts for 2 reasons: 1-curiosity and 2-because I kept finding myself in situations where I didnโt want to use my โregularโ mask, namely when I had an early morning interview and didnโt want marks on my face and on numerous occasions when I was ready for bed but still had wet hair. I have been using my machine religiously since the day I got it and expect to continue to do so, but was feeling like I was doing a lot of planning my life around it and thought this would be a great fill-in for those special occasions. I did NOT expect it to replace my โregularโ mask. Fast forward a month and I havenโt used my โregularโ mask in weeks. Biggest pros: -Itโs so comfortable, I rarely even feel it while sleeping! -No headgear! -No mask marks! -No hair tugging, bald spots, bonnets, etc! -Perfect seal almost always! -Very direct airflow for easier breathing -No waking up all night to reposition and fuss with the seal -Great customer service -Easy application -Very gentle, non-irritating adhesive that is easy to apply and easy to remove Some tips: -Use the diffuser piece. It makes for such quiet slumber. -To check that the ports and clips are in place properly, give a very (very!) gentle tug on the connection to be sure the port doesnโt pop off easily, then once both are connected, cover the end of the hose and attempt an exhale and an inhale-both should feel significant resistance with the hose covered. I can tell if I need to adjust a clip if I do this and hear loud noise or itโs still easy to breathe. -Use the recommended astringent prior to applying. I have gone without and gotten a good seal, but I get a flawless seal consistently when using the astringent first. -Blow your nose first and adjust your humidity if needed. The one reasons Iโve ever run into issues with seal have been on the occasion Iโve had a runny nose or condensation in the mask causing the adhesive to get wet. In both scenarios, Iโve still been able to maintain a good seal, but it hasnโt been as flawless as when I set my humidifier right and blow my nose first so everything stays dry. -When disconnecting for a quick bathroom run or similar, just disconnect the DreamWay hose from your machine hose and either let the hose hang or, my preference, tuck it into the shoulder or neckline of your shirt for less tugging. (When letting it hang, I feel like an elephant with a swinging trunk, so I now fondly refer to it as my tusks and trunk.) -When disconnecting for a longer period but going back to bed, disconnect at the clips for total freedom. This is most comfortable too in terms of breathing for longer-term disconnections (and Iโd assume safer too for longer periods). -Pull the plastic bits off the adhesive and recycle them. I wish there wasnโt so much waste, but recycling these helps a bit. -Be careful to remove the clip from the port! I managed to pull the clip portion of the DreamWay off on one of the ports one time instead of unclipping it and didnโt catch it until later. Fortunately, I still had the port on my nightstand and was able to retrieve the clip (it popped right back in place without issue). -If itโs loud, check your connections to be sure a clip isnโt loose and check that the diffuser is in place with the white filters secured. It isnโt loud when everything is connected properly. Improvements I hope to see in the near future are a reusable component to reduce waste, an overhead connection of some kind, and a reduction in cost. That said, I know the company is young and the CEO is motivated, so I fully expect weโll see these and/or other improvements in the future. Until then, Iโm giving it 5 stars as a first design. Highly recommend!

Most unobtrusive PAP delivery system I have found
I've been struggling with different types of masks for many years. Even a hybrid face mask that fits under (but not over) the nose can become dislodged if you roll onto your side or front. The same goes for a nasal mask or pillow. The Bleep system stays in place when rolling onto your side or front. Of course, most people don't roll onto their face. But the side of your face becomes more firmly planted in the pillow as you roll onto your front. Bleep handles this better than traditional masks. For those who are unfamiliar, there is no mask per se with this system. There is only the DreamWay Connector Kit (this item) and the disposable DreamPorts (separate multipack) that adhere under your nostrils (without actually entering them). In terms of how much hardware you have on your face, this is pretty much the minimum possible. Even nasal pillows have more. There is also less to clean since you throw away the part that touches your face (nostrils) each day, and there are no straps. The only thing to clean is the inside of the connector kit tubing. The kit is fairly inexpensive and can be replaced frequently. The biggest question I had was whether the adhesive lasts through the night. In my experience it does if you clean around your nostrils, as directed. I bought the DreamPrep wipes for this purpose, but probably anything that removes oils and doesn't contain moisturizers (not soap) would work. How is it working for me? I have never been successful with any type of mask that does not cover the mouth (e.g. nasal masks or pillows) since my mouth falls open, causing pressurized air to rush out. In my experience chin straps are useless. So are mouth strips like Somnifix because they eventually come loose during the night even at moderate pressures. The only thing that addresses the "mouth problem" for me is medical grade tape such as this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01F9JFBBY. For more info watch TheLankyLefty27 on YouTube. Having said that, even if I get my mouth sealed, it still pressurizes suddenly when my tongue repositions in a certain way, waking me up. I have the same issue with nasal pillows. I'm working through a solution to this. Bleep's technical support has been very helpful. I'm strongly motivated to make this work because I have been unsuccessful with regular masks even after several years of trying. My AHI is moderate, and I have so many mask issues that I feel as unrested (or worse) with PAP as without. If you're currently successful with a nasal mask or pillow, you shouldn't have mouth issues. I would think the Bleep system would be a significant improvement once you get used to it. Regarding hose management, it's a mixed bag. My current hybrid mask has a swivel on top that deals with tossing & turning. But the swivel tends to butt into my headboard, requiring a pillow in between. But then I'm pushed towards the foot of the bed. After only a couple of nights I'm already getting used to rerouting the hose running to the connector kit when I roll over. But I think an overhead hose management system such as the one shown in one of Bleep's videos is the way to go. It would be nice if Bleep would create a product like that.

Serious Design Flaws
Gave it a serious 7 night try. I sooo badly wanted this mask to work , but it has serious design flaws that need to be fixed. The biggest being the way the nasal things are designed to be placed makes it impossible to have the mask hose (which is freakishly long) go above your head and attach to a hose hanger. Instead the entire weight chunk of the mask sat on my mouth and chin and the hose ended up wrapped around my arms and neck etc. Even though the adhesion was good, the weight of this mask hanging off my nose was too much to bare. Also if you have a nose itch (which having adhesion stuck to your nose makes it itchy) or drip, it is a nightmare as taking off the mask to get to your nose ruins the whole setup. I also tried sticking the nose pieces upside down and having them more on the side of my nose in order to run the hose through a ponytail band on my hair so I could hang it to lessen the pull and hose trapping feeling - but it still was unbearable and uncomfortable. Like I said I really wanted this to work! Now I am out $50 as I donโt think I can return this used. Donโt waste your money or sleepless nights on this!

Worth a try
I've been using a Cpap for close to a year and have tried 6 different masks. I must have a short, round head because every one of them had straps that rubbed on my ears or slipped up the back of my head. Even when I found the mask, itself, tolerable. I finally decided to give the Bleep a try. I have to say that learning how to clip the connector onto the ports can be tricky but after a few weeks, I seem to have the knack for it now. Looking in the mirror you see the opposite image so it can get confusing. Watching all the little videos that Bleep provides has really helped and I recommend going to their site if you're considering these. Sometimes I get one on crooked, so I use trimmed off end pieces of the adhesive to patch where I might have a leak (video explains) - I wish they supplied even a small extra supply of this adhesive material. I do find the mask a little heavy pulling on the nose when going to bed, but I just hold it up or toss over my shoulder until ready to hook up. I keep mentioning videos, but the Bleep site has one showing a set-up for supporting the hose in bed and so I took a chance and ordered them - and now, when I do go back to my Dreamware mask for a little break, i use them and wish I'd bought them months ago! When you adjust it just right, it supports the hose perfectly - the mask doesn't rest on my face at all and I can roll around freely. It has been so much more comfortable than any of the other masks I've tried - you do have to get used to applying the ports because once the adhesive is down, you can't really pull them off to readjust or they lose their seal and will leak air. The 2 problems I've run into is 1) the connectors that rotate have kind of a sharp plastic surface and irritate my upper lip. I remedied by using tape to cover my lip, but I sure wish they would provide extra tape for small areas like leaks and upper lip. I can't seem to find tape that removes as gently as those provided with the ports. My other issue is 2) I've started to get air leaks where the little filters are. Regular exhalations have been quiet, but now air is leaking around the edges of the filters, which makes it go from quiet to air blowing sound. And since having eye surgery a few weeks ago, it's allowing the air to blow up into my face. I haven't figured out a remedy short of ordering a hew connector unit. Bottom line, I'd recommend the product, as well as watching all the informative videos, and to give it a solid try to give time to adjust, as you would any other mask. Update to comment above: I did order a new Vent Diffuser and that solved excess air leaking out. I also continue to trim the ends off of the adhesive, as is show in their instruction videos, and found that if I put one of those trimmed off pcs directly under my nose, it serves as a barrier to the plastic rubbing on my upper lip. I also purchased the hose holders that the owner mentions in his video and that keeps the hose completely off my face - just took a little adjusting to get it right. Sadly, my insurance doesn't cover Bleep, but I'll pay out of pocket just to be free of the straps and having freedom of movement. Someone in another review mentioned the importance of not having wrinkles in the adhesive, or you'll have a leak, but if you save the ends you trim off of them, you can place one over the wrinkle, overlapping on your skin and it's fixed. It just takes practice to get the feel for snapping things together, and a little bit of trouble shooting if you run into a problem - just like any other mask.

Not worth the $$
For the price, thus piece of equipment needs further tweaking. Adhesive nose pads difficult to apply; don't stick well= air leak. Nostril tubes should be made to insert a little into the nostrils for further stability. Then, one may be able to secure the Adhesive. Nares tubes should be smaller and triangulation. Device broke on third use. If these problems could be worked out. it would be great! It doesn't leave any lines on the face. It would definitely help people who have cosmetic fillers placed in the face, since all exhausting masks would smash down the fillers. Sleeping was more comfortable with device, so it is an improvement in that respect. Please improve!

Good product but too expensive.
I gave this a 3 because the price of the nasal adhesives make it near impossible to continue use. Otherwise the concept is great although a little flimsy. I would love to be able to continue use but just too pricey.
