Exactly as I remembered...
Ordered due to MRE nostalgia, and I am extremely pleased with the product - it is exactly as I remembered! This is not hot and spicy ... maybe a 2.5 out of 10 on the spicy scale, it is just mildly warm yet mildly flavorful. More than just a squeezable cheese. Gonna keep a couple pouches of this Jalapeño Cheese Spread in my EDC backpack for those days when I can't pull a lunch break.

Was pleasantly caught off guard by the real chunks jalapeno this stuff is awesome especially at night when you're reading a book to squirtle little bit on some crackers don't have to open up big jar and worry about running the jar back to the fridge. IMO it is Fresh, contents are not separated. There are no dates since they are not in the MRE pack but this stuff has a shelf life of 7-10 years in a temperature controlled environment. For what it's worth my lot number is 2153Z10
