They work for a substitute for CAC-248-2
This was not an exact fit for my compressor. The I.D. was correct but the shape was not as cupped as the original . As I watched some videos I saw the rings can be pushed into the cylinder. I assembled the compressor and it's been working fine. The CAC-248-2 is a better fit for my 6 hp. Craftsman compressor but these work.

It worked!
A bit tricky to install, really feels like they wont fit, and I imagine someone with little patience will definitely break them. BUT they do work, tighten the top plate and lueb the whole assembly, slowly force the cylinder on.

used this on craftsman oiless air compressor that is over 20 years old, not sure if you can buy direct replacement because of the Teflon used in the seals, but these are probably made in china
