Worked great for me — don’t listen to the haters
I decided to give Just For Men Touch Of Grey, Light and Medium Brown a try even though I saw some negative reviews. To be honest, those few reviews sound more like people just being difficult — the kind of folks who love to go against everything just for the sake of it. For me, it worked really well. It toned down the gray, gave my beard a more even look, and — most importantly — it looks natural, not fake or artificial. I also had no irritation or issues at all. The best part? People actually told me I looked several years younger right after they saw me — and that alone made it worth it. It’s not magic or perfection, but if you use it correctly and with common sense, it definitely delivers. In my opinion, this is one of the best options out there for beard coloring.

My barber was surprised I dyed my beard.
My beard looks so natural that when I told my barber that my beard was dyed, she asked what I use so she can share it with her customers. She was very impressed. She says she can always tell the men that dye there hair or beard. She said that mine looks so natural that she had no idea. I teach school. If the kids knew I dyed my hair and beard I would never hear the end of it lol.

Works just OK. I needed to use both colors together.
I have used the two-part "Just For Men" that isn't a "Touch of Gray" before and it works fine. At my age however (55), a fully colored beard looks ridiculous; so I tried the "Touch of Gray". My beard is almost completely gray, but my hair is still 98% dark brown with a gray strand here and there, and a hint of gray at the temples; I have not lost any hair from my head yet, so the almost completely gray beard just looks weird. I chose the light to medium brown at first, fearing the blue-beard syndrome. At five minutes, there was no appreciable difference. I waited two days and tried again, but this time I left it in for 10 minutes. This time it worked, but the color was a little un-natural for me. It was lighter than my natural color and didn't look right. I ordered the dark brown-black and mixed a little of it in with the medium brown paste, for a third attempt. I mixed it about 1/3 dark, and 2/3 light and left it on for seven minutes. I felt that there wasn't enough of the dark to cause a blue-beard reaction. This time the result was much better, though still not quite the right color. Next time I plan on mixing it about 50/50 and leave it in for maybe 12 minutes. After each application I rinsed in the shower and applied a little dab of my wife's shampoo to clean the beard. I never use shampoo on my hair. I have dry hair and shampoo is too harsh for me, so I only use conditioner to clean my hair. My beard is soft and getting close to the right color to match my still mostly dark brown hair. As far as I can tell, it lasts more than a week for me. With the not-quite-right brown I went more than a week and still wasn't seeing any gray roots. With the mixture, I am seeing some gray still, which is exactly what I want, it just needs to be a little darker. So, while it's not a single-product solution, with a little experimentation I think I have found a solution that looks natural.

Beware!!! Touch of Blue
So, as we get a little older, and our beards come in majestically and full, when it turns to the color of Santa Claus White, sometimes we have to turn to chemical means to tone down the white a bit. Looking at the picture on the box, you see a guy with a nice brown beard with a couple of greys in there, as a distinguishable “touch of grey”. Yeah, well, heed this warning. If your beard is white. Like driven-snow white, the result you are faced with is not a brown beard with some greys sprinkled on, you get a full beard of blue/grey/lavender. Remember the term “Blue-hair” for the old ladies that got their hair colored at the salon, and it came out blue? Yeah buddy, that’s your beard. It is a hue of blue not found in nature, but the sadistic twist is when you follow the directions, brush in the gel, wait exactly five minutes, your beard is brown. Like dark brown. And for a glimmering moment, you are fooled into thinking your are heading into work with a whole new vibe. Well, the terror hits hard when you get out of the shower after rinsing your due out, look in the mirror, and your majestic mane of what used to be grey, is blue. I’m not kidding. At first I wondered if I had failed at direction-reading 101 and seriously muffed the punt, but looking into the mirror, I realized I was in big trouble. A quick google search and I began a frantic search for any signs of Clarifying Shampoo that my wife or two daughters might have in their bathrooms. Nope. Nada. There was but one solution, as I realized I could not face the jackals at work that would turn my workday into a land of misery with insults and shaming. It had to be shaved off. Three months of growing this glorious Christmas beard was about to be shorn in mere minutes. And here is where the real kick in the nuggets reared back and unleashed vengeance. After shaving off my beard, the dye had kept its dark brown hue, but instead of coloring the beard hair that color, it dyed my skin underneath the beard, dark brown. So now, it looked like I had tried to paint myself a beard onto my freshly-shaven face. Noxema and make-up remover did nothing, so I loaded up a washcloth with soap, and scrubbed like I was stripping paint off an old barn. Now my face was a mess of red, raw skin, and leftover brown dye. Luckily, I had an hour before work and my red skin settled down, and no one really noticed the brown tinge that was left behind. In summation, this is NOT FOR WHITE BEARDS that you are trying to blend in some brown and grey. This is for BROWN OR BLACK BEARDS that you have some grays showing through, and you are attempting to tone down their numbers. If am giving this color “Touch of Grey” one star, and solely for the sheer panic and the eventual shaving off of my beard, as the color description needs to include what result one is trying to achieve. If you are trying to match your great-grandmas new dye job when you accompany her to the Early Bird, you’re gonna be thrilled. If that is not the hue you seek, choose a different color variation.

Light Brown - Natural Look
I am so disappointed in this product. It is easy to prepare (no mixing stuff in 2 seperate tubes together, there is only 1 premixed tube) and easy to brush on, but the ACTION from this product isn't there. When you put it on it is extremely dark (makes you think, "oh no!"), but when you rinse it off there is hardly any color. It does cover the gray with just a hint of brown and leaves alot of it gray to give you alot of salt and alittle pepper look. The color washes out pretty quickly when you wash your beard & mustache. Stupid me ordered another box of it before I really tested. It is alot better than the regular Just For Men because it does look natural whereas the regular makes it a darker color than you selected and looks like you dyed it. I'm going to try the other types next. There has to be a good one out there.

Just for Men Touch of Grey: A Refined Elixir for the Distinguished Gentleman
Ah, Just for Men Touch of Grey, the very elixir of aristocratic allure, a concoction so refined it might as well be bottled in crystal and decanted by butlers in white gloves. It’s not merely a product, dear readers; it’s an invitation to ascend the social ladder without the tedious bother of attending polo matches or joining yacht clubs. One need only dab a modest dollop onto one’s locks to unlock the door to an exclusive club—where the martinis are dry, the cigars are Cuban, and the age is but a suggestion. Imagine, if you will, the quintessential gentleman: a man whose hair whispers tales of experience, yet remains robust enough to demand the respect of a room. This, my friends, is the promise of Touch of Grey. It doesn’t erase the years; no, that would be gauche. Instead, it delicately massages the ego, allowing just the faintest silver to shimmer through the darkness like moonlight on a midnight sea. You become a veritable Lord Byron of the boardroom, a James Bond of the barbershop, exuding wisdom without the weight of full-blown antiquity. The application process itself is an event, a ritual worthy of the finest parlors. I half-expected a string quartet to play softly in the background as I squeezed the regal tube, a silver fountain of youth that doesn’t pander to the vulgarities of the ordinary. With every stroke, the grey was coaxed into a perfect balance—not too stark, not too subtle, but rather a masterful chiaroscuro that would make even the great Rembrandt nod in approval. And the results? Ah, the results! One cannot simply walk into a room post-application; one must make an entrance. The hair—no, the coiffure—now possesses a gravitas that demands admiration, perhaps even a small round of applause. The ladies swoon, the gentlemen nod with newfound respect, and one’s reflection in the mirror gives a knowing wink, as if to say, “Well done, old chap.” Touch of Grey is not just a hair color; it’s a passport to an elevated existence. No longer will you be just another face in the crowd. You’ll be the silver fox, the paragon of maturity laced with a dash of mystery. So, dear reader, if you wish to stride through life with the confidence of a man who has lived, loved, and lunched at all the right clubs, I urge you—nay
