Gets the job done
Overall good product. I probably should have ordered a different type based on how I wear my hair, but that doesn’t mean this isn’t a good product. It has really helped with the irritation I was getting around my ear. The straps fall out sometimes, but only when moved around a lot. I’d recommend them, they do what they are meant to do!

Saves my ears, keeps mask firmly in place, but easy to lose.
I work in health care and have to wear a mask for an extended period of time. This product has been GREAT for keeping the mask elastics off my ears and holding the mask firmly in place. I also use the product outside the office. My only critique is that I wish it had a hole in the center section so I could attach it to a lanyard. They are a bit too easy to lose.

works okay
It does work to remove the pressure on the back of my ears. However, the strap tends to slide down below the occipital bulge on the back pf my skull. So now I feel a little pressure on the TOP groove of my ears. Overall a bit more comfortable with the strap than without.

Works Well
Works well and is comfortable with different types of masks. I bought this one over the rest because of the value per piece. I did receive one broken extender. The plastic broke at the top of the bottom of the extender severing the extensions on one side to the main connecter, making the extender unusable.

Slides down back of neck and puts pressure on top of ears and nose
Since I still need to wear masks in office 8+ hours per day, I thought these would be helpful at relieving the pressure on the backs of my ears. What I've experienced over the past week of use is that the design, while simple and cheap, more or less just shifts the pressure and doesn't offer much relief. 1. The length of the device is about 1 1/2" behind each ear (this will vary depending on the size of your head), which means the bands on the mask need to stretch further to reach the device. This adds tension to the elastic and pulls the front of the mask into the face harder. I've found that extra pressure on the nose VERY bothersome. It's very uncomfortable to have your nose smooshed down like that. 2. The design SHOULD sit behind the ears but instead it slides down the curve of the skill to rest at the top of the neck, pulling the mask bands downward and digging into the tops of the ears. Along with the extra tension from the bands, this is not what I was hoping for. Overall, it's a fine idea but has poor execution. I imagine if you're a child or petite and have a smaller head, it might not be so problematic, but as a 6' tall grown man, these are just making the situation worse.

Very Helpful After Some Getting Used To
I put up with mask-induced sore ears throughout the pandemic and figured there was nothing I could do about it. Then I found these on Amazon and figured I'd give them a shot. At first, I couldn't really figure out how to use them properly. The photos on the product page help, but in practice, it was tricky. I tried a few times and gave up and nearly forgot about them. A couple of weeks ago, though, I found one lying around the house and I tried again, and this time the results were much improved. It just takes practice and patience to determine how tight the mask should fit around your nose and mouth, and where the plastic extender strip itself should rest on the back of your head. I usually attach my mask straps to the second hook on each side of the extender, and the extender itself rests behind and below my ears; basically just above my neck. Now I use the extender regularly and my ear discomfort has pretty much disappeared. I highly recommend these if you can give them a few tries before tossing them aside.

Make wearing face masks MUCH more comfortable for those long shifts
Yea, these were necessary for some of the masks we wore at work and they made them much more comfortable. Lots of the bigger men there wore them. I can't imagine they would have made it through a shift without these taking the pressure off their ears and necks.

covid
Ordered during Covid, did not really work as advertised. Pulled mask down to base of neck and did not provide real support.
