UPDATE: I re-purchased this product somewhere else and it smells fine. The product itself is great. I spray it on clean moisturized skin as a primer, let dry. Then after I finish applying my makeup, I spray again to set my makeup. It keeps my makeup in place and it hydrates my skin. The sprayer works well, it’s a fine mist but in a concentrated area so it doesn’t go all over the place and get on my hair and clothing. I really love this product! FIRST REVIEW (1 star): It smells like mildew!!! When I spray it on my face it has a mildew after smell! Even the spray nozzle smells like mildew. I unscrewed the cap and the liquid inside the bottle does not have that smell. It’s puzzling!! I even poured some in a completely different sprayer and it still has an after smell of mildew. Did I get an old bottle?? I returned it. So disappointing bc I really wanted to love the product. Things like this are why I am very skeptical ordering certain cosmetic products on Amazon.

Makes my makeup look so much more nicer and helps it stay on for a lot longer, my skin is dry and sensitive this works well with my skin, not too oily on me

Keeps makeup lasting throughout the morning. I have oily skin and live in the south and this is the best brand I have found thus far. No noticeable smell and sprays on evenly even with the pump action. Often times it does go on a little thicker towards the end of the bottle and if it is colder out but it works well as a setting spray.

Finally a primer/setting/refreshing spray that works and is affordable! This product leaves my skin hydrated without the sticky feeling. I use it as a primer and setting spray and it blurs my makeup instead of making it flaky and dry looking. If there is a smell, it’s very light and fresh and nothing that lingers. I also have to say that the fine mist spray is awesome. So many times I’ve purchased setting sprays the spray bottle is awful and more like a jet instead of a fine mist. I even bought fine mist bottle to pour my setting sprays into but NYX actually got it right with this spray nozzle. This is my new favorite setting spray!

So far I really like this! I think for the price it works REALLY WELL! I decided to try a setting spray this summer because my make up wouldn’t last. This combined with a good base (a hydration serum that doubles as a primer), it lasts a good while! I wore it to a wedding for a few hours and my make up still looked the same! Stays in place and dries quickly! It blends well, doesn’t doesn’t leave any residue and easy to use and apply. I love glow look to my make up and this keeps my looking glowy!

- the mist is ok, if you've tried the Sephora setting spray dewy one and compare it to this one, the Sephora has a much finer mist but when it gets on my eyebrows, it leaves a weird texture like it's dried out. The NYX doesn't leave a noticeable texture difference on my eyebrows. - the mist on this one is like a medium smooth mist, the particles are a bit larger and you can feel droplets on your face when you spray 2-3x at once. - i would still recommend getting it bc its a good price for its quality and definetly does the job of setting your makeup in place

I have been using Bare With Me Multitasking Makeup Primer and Setting Spray for years and I simply love the way it feels on my skin and keeps my makeup in place and fresh looking for well over 16 hrs. It’s also healthy for your skin and doesn’t cause breakouts. And it dries quickly without a noticeable fragrance.
