NGK manufactures quality spark plugs
My 2019 Subaru needed new plugs and I appreciated Amazon's web site to inform (or in this case verify) that these plugs would actually fit/conform to my vehicle. These plugs have double iridium tips (top and bottom) to last longer. My service manual recommended an interval change at 60,000 miles, but I extended the original NGK plugs to 90,000 without any performance issues. So with the new one installed I'm hoping for another 90k.

Works just fine on a Forester 2012 Pzev
Right, I don't know why they specified Outback but the plug specification matches my Forester 2012 so I ordered, installed and it's running just fine. Painful to replace on the car, but doable; you will need a "thin wall socket" and a couple of "wobbly adapters" with different lengths and a couple extensions to do a mix-and-match to remove the plugs, and specially, the closest one to the driver, is the most painful.... it's doable and will save you shop time charges. Will buy again if I need to.

In-kind spark plug replacement Subaru Crosstrek 2017
DIY. Improved response and acceleration of our Subaru Crosstrek 2017. Replaced at 60,000 miles (Dealer) and now again at 120,000 miles (Self). I used a 3/8 in. drive 6 in. flex head ratchet with a 14 mm Spark Plug Socket and 3 in. drive extension. Spark plug removal is a bit of a challenge because spacing between spark plug well/engine and frame is minimal. Remind you to detach ratchet before spark plug is completely loose and continue unscrewing by hand or else you will not be able to pull it out. Getting a torque wrench into position was also a challenge. I used a Craftsman 3/8” Drive Digital Click Torque Wrench Model 13918. Careful while torquing to not break ceramic. Careful using swivel joint. I did not apply dielectric grease to spark plug ceramic or to the boot and refrained from applying anti-seize to the threads. Spark plug torque: 13.3 ft-lb Spark plug gap: 0.039” - 0.043” Ignition coil torque: 6.3 ft-lb Subaru Part Number: 22401AA781 Box has anti-tampering seal.

As expected
Changed the plugs on my 2014 Subaru Outback per maintenance schedule - what a pain!!! The plugs were fine and appeared to be an exact replacement which is what I was after. These plugs are pricy but if you want an exact replacement it is what it is...

OEM 2013 Subaru Forester plugs
These are the same as OEM plugs for a 2013 Subaru Forester X . They are literally the same plugs that come with the car brand new from factory. It cost way less on amazon than the "stealer-ship". Recommended service interval is like 60k miles depending on your usage Pro tip: buy a swivel socket for this job, you will 100% need it.
