Amazing
I was skeptical about this product at first. The first time I used it I used sink water and I did a 30 minute session. The water turned brown and looked gross. I felt very tired and relaxed afterwords. However I was still skeptical thinking maybe due to the rust in the well water was why it changed color. So I used bottled, distilled water for the next treatment. Results were even nastier, but I felt relaxed the same. I slept better than I had in quite some time. Still feeling skeptical, I changed the foot salt I was using. At the end of the day after several uses, my skepticism has diminished. I live a pretty healthy lifestyle and never would have imagined what I was seeing in the water. Little particles, ranging in size and color. Silver, white and black. I didn’t see them until the 3rd or 4th use. After much research and coming across “scientific studies “ about the ineffectiveness of ion foot baths, I call bs. I think with any product or supplement that’s proven to promote better health and wellness, there’s always going to be a site around the corner debunking the effectiveness of it. The medical world doesn’t want us to be healthier. How would they make the income they do if they had no one to “help”. If you see negative comments, it’s in my opinion, the person isn’t using it correctly, following the directions or expectations are based on 1-2 x use. I felt results after the first time, but if you are patient and persistent, my guess is, you will understand my review.

Great unit...heavy duty and definitely will last if you make sure and keep it really clean.
I ordered another and it was so cheaply built. I had used a foot detoxing machine in the spa I worked/retired from so knew immeditely this lite weight plastic one wouldn't last. Well, not only would it last long term but it wouldn't even work. I immediately went back online. I saw this unit and knew it would be better and last a long time. When It was so heavy and that alone made me know it was a sturdier and better made. I've used it and it was perfect and my daughter (after seeing a picture of 3 minutes after starting it and again at the end) is now going to order her one. I shared the pictures with 6 of my family and close friends the pictures and I'm sure they will buy it too. It's easy to use and I highly recommend it.

Great Machine!
This is my second detox machine. The first one recently wore out after 15 years. I was nervous about getting a different brand but the other company isn't making them any more. This one was a great choice. It works wonderfully. The directions are spot-on and there were no unexpected glitches. There is a small poster that allows the user to interpret what is being flushed from the body. That was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this machine.

And A Fine Illusion It Is
I bought this unit at the recommendation of a friend. I got it home and tried it that evening. Amazing how much toxin was being removed from my body in only a 30 minute period! The water was dark brown and full of tiny specks. I did this the next 2 evenings. Same results. But, as I watched, I started wondering how it was possible that all these tiny specs were passing through the pores of the skin on my feet? This was a huge amount; and I felt nothing at all while these toxins passed through my skin. I started to smell a rat, so the next evening I made a slight change to the procedure. I took “me” out of the loop. Instead of putting the wrist band on my arm and my feet in the water, I put the wrist band directly in the water. I didn’t get my feet wet. Sure enough, the water immediately started to turn brown and cloudy. I stopped at 15 minutes instead of the full 30 minutes (too much of a mess to clean up). The picture attached to this review is the end result of my 15 minute experiment. What I think the machine is actually doing is corroding the array. The array is apparently an alloy containing iron (it is magnetic). The low level current, along with the slightly salty water, serve to cause the array material to corrode (i.e. rust). And what we’re seeing in the water is tiny rust particles. This is the reason that the machine manufacturer says that we have to periodically replace the array; because it corrodes. So the production of lots of rust particles in the water gives the grand illusion of pulling toxins out of your body through your feet. I wish it were true, but alas it appears we’ve been sold a bottle of snake oil.

Used Multiple Times Water Doesn't Change Color
To detox body of toxins. Despite following directions accurately the water never changed much color to what showed in photos. It was bubbling but directions don't explain the modes very well. I had no idea if using the right mode or not. The original array didn't work. I wondered if I was doing something wrong. Emailed company but received no response at all. Directions need to be updated to explain what different modes do. No mention of them in directions. I'm sure it's doing something just not sure what. Imhope it's removing toxins even if water doesn't change much color.

Works great for me. I can’t believe what it’s taken out so far I’ve only used it twice. After going for chemo and radiation I think this is gonna help me take a lot of the detox out of my body.! However further investigation.. Do Ionic detox foot spas really work? “No”, ionic detox foot spas do not actually work to remove toxins from your body; scientific evidence shows the colour change in the water comes from the electrolysis of the salt and water, and the electrodes rusting, not from toxins leaving your body, as the body detoxifies itself primarily through the liver and kidneys. Claims that these devices pull toxins through your feet are pseudoscientific, with studies finding no reduction in toxins after use. I will be returning mine.

I have used the ionic foot bath in a spa numerous times, and finally invested in my own in-home unit. This comes in a very sturdy and very attractive case. The unit itself works very well and gives an indicator if you use too much salt in the water. The instructions are quite clear on how to use the equipment and the results are great. Quite an amazing little machine.
