This hose splitter looks great and works exactly as described. What a pleasure to be able to control the on/off and flow of each side with the large comfortable and easy turning control valves instead of those tiny and hard to turn knobs found on many of the units available locally (Home De*** and Low**). The seller even contacted me after the sale to make sure I was satisfied with the product and/or had any questions about it. That kind of service is rare these days. This is the second unit that I have purchased, works great and is very easy to use. The turn on and off levers turn smoothly and the units seem to last for years.

One of the main reasons I bought this unit is that I'm sick and tired of replacing them every year. Either the fittings crack, or the shutoffs break, or something else falls apart. This one was billed as "Premium Quality, Made to Last, Buy Once and Never Look Back, Strong Stainless Steel Material". Far from it, the body is made from cast malleable iron (you can tell from the seams), which means it will break at the end of this season or next. And the main fitting on top is only copper, inside, which means it will wear out after a year or two. For $6.95, I'll use it, but it is a disappointment, and NOT as advertised. EDIT: When I went to attach this, I could not get my hose to connect properly. The white-metal fittings have rough seams, and the thread does not even go all the way around (unlike the picture). Even with a pair of channel-lock pliers, I could not get the water to stop spraying in my face. This unit is going back.

I spent $2000 landscape in our front yard with beautiful mahogany bark. within a few days I noticed the cats from the neighborhood were coming and use it as a litter box. they were digging a big hole in the bark and taring up the plastic from underneath. I was beyond furious. !! So I did some research and found the scarecrow sprinkler. It seems extremely expensive, and yet if it would solve this problem it would be well worth it. well I hooked it up and put it in motion and two days later I realize it was completely effective. It scared the hell out of every cat in the neighborhood and none of them come in our yard anymore. It was a lot cheaper and psychotherapy. I would highly recommend this product it works.

This is a well made product. My old adapter was leaking at the valve fitting after about a year, even after I replaced the rubber washer. I've been using this one for about 2 weeks with no problems. Levers are easy to use, and there is metal inside the yellow plastic that attaches to the valve, so it seems sturdy.

I like this. It's convenient. Instead of unscrewing the long hose attached to my soaker hose, that stays in place when I use my other hose to do other things like wash the car, water the front lawn... The only downfall is that there are no directions. It came with three plastic gaskets that I'm not sure if I needed to put in or if they were extras. It leaks. A lot. So, I'm guessing the gaskets need to go in. I'll try to conned them on the next nice day.

Just want to say that I encountered great customer support that listened to me and gave me a full refund. I updated my review based on the amazing customer support I received. Started leaking a bit after first use, Have to make sure the levers are tightly on there, even then there is a gap between metal part and rubber housing where water leaks out. I would get the newer model if you can. Does seem sturdy.

Nice product that works well without drips. Unfortunately, it broke after 3 weeks. I bumped it with a garden tool and it broke off at the screw mount to the faucet. It is made of hard plastic which is easily broken.
