My second time purchasing. The seeds sprout really well, even way past the labeled best-by date. Kitty enjoys the grass. Seller promptly corrected an error when the wrong size item was shipped. I will continue to purchase.

I use this product for my cats and dogs. The seeds came fresh and started sprouting within 3 days.

Very easy to grow. And, my kitties love the stuff!

We planted this grass seed on June 18th. Today is July 1 & no grass has begun to show yet. :(Update: Received an response offering a refund. We feel like we aren't sure if it is something we've done incorrectly or maybe rodents & birds are eating the seed so we refused the refund. This grass is probably just fine. :)

This is one of those products I feel is a win-win, I feel good to support a small family farming business who provides a unique product with a high level of quality, and in my opinion, a very competitive price.I Tried out of variety of leftover cat food containers by poking some drainage holes and using potting soil and a Basic growl lamp and I think meow mix containers worked the best. One thing that took me a while to realize that I was harvesting the grass Prematurely. My cat is obsessed with grass and he pretty much demand it with every meal so I usually snip it onto his food, by letting it grow pretty tall, I have more supply than when I was cutting it at the more average grass length.I keep the seeds in the fridge. I think this is the most optimal way to store them, but I have no scientific data to support my claim.!

I soaked the seeds for 24hrs, longer than necessary. And did and experiment, half went into basic potting soil and the other half I made full hydro. The ones in a small amount of soil spouted twice as many than those in full hydro, and their roots were much better. The seeds in hydro had small fragile roots and didn't take to being transplanted into partial hydro very well. Unfortunately my cats still prefer wild lawn grass to this mixture.

My cats love cat grass. I had been using another cat grass seeds and perhaps it got too old. They just barely sprouted.Thunder Acres cat grass was thick and lush. My cats were very excited. Oh! A very nice touch was an adorable mouse toy placed in my order! Thankyou Thunder Acres! I’d buy it again.
