HENCKELS Solution 3-pc Starter Knife Set

Bought this set for our eldest. This is a great starter set for someone setting up their kitchen for the first time. Henckels makes a good-quality knife. They are sharp and feel good in the hand. This set of three packs a lot of bang for the buck, containing a chef's knife, pairing knife, and utility knife. All bases are covered. Easy to sharpen and a whole heck of a lot better than those cheaply made sets of 14-piece sets. Bought this on a Prime sale, and it was worth every penny.

Great knife for the price. I needed a replacement chef's knife after my primary chef knife took damage I couldn't keep using it with. Comes very sharp. Good quality steel. Fits great into my henckels knife block.

I bought this knife on Black Friday. It was an impulse buy. The price was excellent. Long story short, it completely exceeded my expectations. Best value for the price of any knife I have purchased this year. The workmanship is good. The handle(s) are tight, and there are no gaps between handle and metal. The metal is full tang. The rivets are tight and completely flush. There are no protruding rivets and no sunken rivets. The metal is thicker than I expected, and gives he knife a pleasant weight. The balance is good and the knife fits well into my hand. The factory edge was moderately sharp, but I sharpened the knife anyhow to get the edge I prefer. The blade took well to sharpening, and captured a satisfactory edge across the whole blade. No dull spots. I've only had the knife for a few weeks, and I already like it better than some of my other small knives. I don't know yet, how long it will keep a sharp edge. But after a couple weeks, it's still holding-up very well. I'm thinking, now, that I may want to buy some of the other Henckels knives that are advertised as "chef class". PS - Definitely not a "paring knife". More like mini chef knife or a special purpose utility knife.

When I mentioned to my husband that I needed some new kitchen knives, he said one word: Henckel. I purchased this set and after using the Henckel brand one time, I realized how dull (and rusted) my old knives were. This set is very functional and each one is comfortable in my hand. This set was a great price point and will handle everything I need in the kitchen. Words of caution: knives are EXTREMELY sharp!

Granted this is not a pro grade knife; this is an entry level chef's knife. However, for the street price of this knife, you will be hard pressed to find anything at twice this price point that offers the quality, balance and ease of use. Best of all, this knife keeps a clean edge and sharpens well. Simply put, it is sharp right out the box and it's easy to keep it that way. Would I recommend this knife to friends and family? Absolutely. And this is coming from a Dalstrong user. I use this knife as a go to for grueling, bulk cutting jobs whenever we have BBQs. So far, I've never had to sharpen the knife in the middle of an event. It cuts like a champ. So don't think about the price of this knife, just get it and be pleasantly surprised. Besides, what will $20.00 and some change get you these days? Three or four cups of coffee? Believe me, you will end up with something offering far greater value when all is said and done.

Very pleased. Our other henkels like it broke after 30 years of marriage.

Have had them for a while now. Are the sharpest knives in the drawer. Retaining their edge well!

It is not a knife that is worth $30 AUD. There are better quality knives which are cheaper

I wanted a small, good quality but affordable paring knife but found that ordering from Zwilling online came with a hefty shipping cost compared to the cost of the knife itself. Was happily surprised to find what I wanted on Amazon with free shipping under Prime. An excellent, all purpose small knife. It arrives razor sharp so take care!

Had these now for 3+ years and cannot recommend enough. If you’re picky with knives, but too lazy to hand wash, these are for you. I use them every day, put them in the top rack, just sliced a tomato — occasionally give them a quick home sharpen with a cheap and easy sharpener, but that’s it. I had an expensive competitor before, but these are all I use now.
