I have used this Blistex Deep Renewal product for years, but I am finding it increasingly difficult — near impossible, to find in the major stores that tend to carry such a product. I use the renewal in a number of ways. I take it to the beach, where it protects lips quite well — people say my lips look young! I protect my lips more than I protect my face, oddly (!). Second, I use the product before bed, especially in the winter. It takes away the dryness that smitten lips in the winter. Third, well — if you have a partner, it is useful.

I apply this at night after brushing my teeth and wake up with softer lips, saturated with moisture. Also keep a tube in my purse. for times when the wind dries my lips. Most products I have tried coat my lips with a waxy shield. Blistex Deep Renewal softens the texture of my lips. I gave this a lower mark on flavor because there isn't much in the way of flavor, but I prefer that because I tend to lick my lips more often to taste a flavored lip balm and that removes the product from my lips. This defeats the purpose of the lip balm and acts more like a candy.
