Doctor Who Tardis Ceramic Teapot

Got this as a gift for my brother who loves Dr. Who and tea. He loves it! It arrived on time and in perfect condition, snuggly fit into the box with protection surrounding it. It looks amazing. Even better than pictured. It also works great. It keeps the water hot for a “longer than normal” time. (That’s what my brother says. So I’m taking his word on it.) It has held up for two years now and shows no signs of wear and tear. Overall, it was a great gift and I’m very glad I got it.

I bought my teapot from "THE BT GROUP" with prime shipping simply because I didn't want to wait a month to get it from "Real Merch UK" and I wanted the service of Amazon Fulfillment. So I can't speak for this company but the one I received from "THE BT GROUP" was in perfect condition aside from the box which was a bit beat up, but that's fine with me because the teapot was perfect. It was a tad smaller than I expected but again not a big deal, and the color/detail was excellent. It feels very sturdy and great quality, I couldn't be happier. I haven't tried my tea in it yet but I am sure it will keep it warm for a while. Just make sure to hand wash it to be safe.

I bought this as a gift for my sister, a fellow Whovian. The teapot is modest in size - enough for two people (or one tea-gluttonous sister). The details are wonderful. The "Pull to Open" sign is fully legible, and the paint on the "box" itself isn't just a matte blue; there are shadings and highlights all over it. I'm very pleased. I bought her a TARDIS mug last year from ThinkGeek, and everything but the lid was shattered when I received it. I was concerned about this one as well, since it was also made by the same manufacturer (licensed by BBC). Fortunately this tea pot isn't broken, but the styrofoam is completely broken, and I had trouble putting it back in the box. I'm going to have to make sure my sister knows to be careful when opening it. I know the breaking occurs during shipping, but the problem seems to be in how the manufacturer packages it. My advice: if you're buying this as a gift, buy it early within plenty of time to exchange for another if it's broken! I also recommend buying the TARDIS mug as it also comes with a little lid, so if you ever break the tea pot lid, you can use the mug's lid. :)

Perfect gift paired with the Doctor Who Tardis tea infuser. The teapot looks fantastic but in all reality, it's very impractical. It's not like a teapot you would stick on the burner and boil water in but you could still steep tea in it once you fill it with hot water. The problem then is that the water cools off quickly because the pot wasn't hot to begin with. Still a really cool gift though.

I want it to be bigger, but that's so I can climb in and go to whenever I want to go. It's actually probably the perfect size for tea. It must be because I have perfect tea every time. And I'm perfectly pleased with the way my teapot pours my perfect tea. I'm sad when I have tea away from home, because then I don't get to use my wonderful TARDIS teapot to make wonderful tea. I love it. Let's go look for some perfect honey to put in my perfect TARDIS teacup, ready for when I pour my perfect tea out of my perfect teapot. Perfect.

This is a tea pot. I bought this expecting a tea pot shaped, life size, functioning tardis. It is unfortunately NOT bigger on the inside. When I received the package, I was disappointed that it was carry-able and not delivered on a pallet. Oh well, I thought, maybe its still bigger on the inside and can simply hold an enormous amount of TEA instead of people, but nooooo, it only holds a physically possible amount of tea. Really disappointing. I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend who is in love with Doctor Who (as am I), and I'm sure she will love it just the same. The detail and construction is nice! Fun little pot, ultimately. But that's it. Not life size, not bigger on the inside, not capable of time travel... but at least it holds tea and looks great.

This teapot is incredible and a complete surprise for my daughter. She is a college sophomore and was heading back to the Pasadena area on January 9th. I was told the item will ship, from the UK, between January 9th and 22nd. I was gobsmacked when it arrived on December 23rd! It was packaged in a box labeled "army troopers" so it was not only intriguing but did not give away the actual contents. A must have item for Doctor Who fans!

It's a Tardis and a teapot. What's not to love? It's functional and pretty. I've only had it a few months, so I can't say how durable it is. But so far so good. If you're a Whovian, why don't you have this already? On a side note, I also have a matching mug. That piece I don't recommend. It's nice to look at, sure, but you can't really use it. Technically, you can, but drinking liquids from a square vessel is harder than you'd think. Unless you like having tea splotches on your shirt. Don't waste your money on the mug. Get this teapot and call it a day.

I was very pleased at the quality of the product. It is well made. The product shipped and arrived within a week of ordering even though it said it would take two to three weeks. I am loving this purchase!

Die harten Fakten: + Die Teekanne sieht hochwertig verarbeitet aus + Der Deckel hat so einen kleinen Widerhaken, so dass es bei unerwarteten Reisen durch Zeit und Raum nicht gleich eine Sauerei gibt bzw. der Deckel wegrutscht + angenehmes Gewicht (was auch immer das heißen soll) besser: sie hat Substanz (und Charakter :D) + der Deckel hält die Teebeutel fest + leicht zu reinigen, wenn man den alten Tee nicht tagelang drin stehen lässt (ich tue sie nicht in die Spülmaschine, sondern fast kochendes Wasser + Spritzer Spüli) + gleichmäßig lackiert/gebrannt/bemalt Es passen max. 0,8l (fast bis an die Grenze) rein. Die weichen Fakten: + ich bin auf- und abgehüpft als ich sie ausgepackt habe + ich habe dümmlich gegrinst und mir sofort einen tee gemacht + sie macht sich als blickfang super in der küche + sie ist niedlich, authentisch und macht mir freude Fazit: als trösterchen zum ende der 7.Staffel vor einigen Monaten perfekt, praktisch, schön anzusehen und für ein Whovianherz ideal :)
