Zeadio Video Action Stabilizing Handle Grip Handheld Stabilizer with Cold-Shoe Mount for All DSLR Camera Camcorder

I recently purchased the Zeadio Video Action Stabilizing Handle Grip for my camcorder, and it has been an absolute game-changer for my videography projects. This stabilizer is not just a tool; it's a vital accessory that has significantly enhanced the quality of my videos. Firstly, the build quality of the Zeadio stabilizer is impressive. It's sturdy yet lightweight, making it ideal for long shooting sessions. The grip is comfortable to hold, providing a secure and steady hold, which is crucial for capturing smooth footage. The stabilizing effect of this handle grip is remarkable. It has drastically reduced the shakiness and jitters in my videos, especially when I'm on the move. One of the features I love most is the hot-shoe mount on the top of the handle. This allows me to easily attach multiple accessories like microphones, lights, or even additional cameras, enhancing the versatility of my filming setup. Also, the compact size and lightweight design make it easy to carry around. Considering the quality, functionality, and added features like the hot-shoe mount, this stabilizer offers incredible value for money. It's an essential piece of equipment for anyone looking to enhance the stability and quality of their footage.

The feet at the bottom make it difficult to use the NEWER tripod mounting screw (see picture 2) and so I will need to fix that. Otherwise happy!

I like this grip. Works just fine with my Canon T3i. It won't stabilize the camera on its own, so you have to know what you're doing to make it work, but unless you're a complete amateur, you should be able to get very stable shots using this grip. I will either hold it with one hand on top, one on bottom, and the "U" against my chest/abdomen, and do a "slide step" motion to avoid bouncing it when walking, or I'll just balance the top part on my middle finger (low shots) or thumb (high shots) and let it hang. All these techniques result in very stable shots without the need for expensive stabilizing technology. My only gripe is that the hot shoe connector on top is rather flimsy, and anything I connect to it just ends up falling off no matter what I do. My solution was to simply stop connecting things to it. Not really a deal breaker for me, as I am content with using the built in camera mic and using other methods of recording separate audio when necessary, and just learning to do the best I can with low-light situations. Overall, for the price, I am happy with this grip for my purposes. EDIT: I bought different connectors to use with the hot shoe on top, and I've had better luck with it. Still nervous about putting expensive equipment into it, but so far it's been fine.

Fits perfectly with the handycam, the accessibility for the accessories works greatly, super comfortable grip, and comes with a different adjustment for the camera. 10/10 for what it is and should work for.

Fantastic! Feels great and the hands, and with a monitor on the top, you can shoulder it pretty comfortably!

UPDATE: ~~~~~~~~ I wanted to provide the lens information since the lens which came with my camera was having the issue with this device. It's the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Lens And I've uploaded a picture as well. I found 1/4" rubber washers here on Amazon that are just enough to allow my lens to turn, it is just barely, there may be room for a strand of hair in between but it rotates so that's a fix. Again Just moving the camera far enough forward to allow for the lens to rotate was not fixing the issue, it was falling forward. The only issue now is that it's a real pain to attempt to get the camera screwed onto the stabilizer as of course the screw is made just long enough for you to screw the camera sans spacers and yes I made sure the washer on the device is all the way to the bottom. It takes turning the device and camera upside down and finagling it enough to finally catch and tighten to that sweet spot that's not too tight or too loose or I'm back to the same issue. I gave my review more stars now to be as fair as possible. :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I can not use this with my Canon T6s. The lens this camera came with (purchased in Dec of 2016).... is too big around to allow you to mount it yet still allow you to rotate the lense. It's pinned against the bottom. This is a very common camera and common lens so I figured there wouldn't be a problem. If I attach the camera far enough forward to clear the lens it gets unstable and falls forward. Remember if you have a flip top flash or light it will not be able to open to be of any use which is to be expected. That can be alleviated by buying an external and attaching it to the top of this stabilizer since they have included a connection point there for lights, flashes and microphones...which is nice. So again, I think this is an OK product but I can not it with one of the most common cameras due to space. (the T6s and 70D are pretty much the same thing with the exception of some upgrades) I hope I can find a resolution, if not I will have to give it away or something. If I find one though I will update my review. If anyone reading this already knows a spacer that would allow me just a tiny bit of space and still reach the connection on my camera to screw it down, let me know. I would be really grateful.

Great quality and good price

This is truly a must have handheld camera accessory even for hobbyist. With your camera and/or accessories (mic-lightung) on the mount it just flows. Easy to use, it looks very professional and like I said it makes filming easier. Maybe even get some cool shots down much lower than you would normally film (cars, ECT) Enjoy yours, I am. It is a quality made product. Oh I FORGOT, it comes with a second mount for the base. I will attach a pic.

Cheap but good

I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL!! I simply enjoy making home movies of my kids and family. From sorting events to our cottage adventures and everything in between. This mount works great for me. It gives my more stability while holding the camera all with one hand. I love the fact it has the ability to ad a mic or light at the top. Very easy and simple to use, highly recommend for the home video enthusiast. The only issue I can see is the foam on the handle seems pretty cheap but I can live with that
