Wished we'd bought one years ago.moved to a new house which was higher than our last.this is a must for extra confidence and safety when using extendable ladders.lifts you back from your building.when working on eaves and guttering this lessens the need to lean back to position yourself correctly. Good value for money, seem heavy but you are lifting 6mtrs of ladder so you can compare wights on likefor like traditional ladder. strap around when closed is velcrow not clip so again down to preference. Used only few times so far as had only a week, but practical and seem sturdy. stickers come off on sections very easy which are for instruction,safety which should stay on and whilst only stickers detailing and quality in all aspects when using something is important

Perfect for my roof and gutter inspections ,with rubber buffers to protect facings and soffits etc, ideal for corners due to the 90 degree profile built into the standoff, simple bolt together assembly when it arrives using two 10mm spanners, and the strong spring attachment keeps it securely attached to my 2 piece 6metre extension ladder great price, and quality

I couldnt get the spring that holds everything on the ladder to stretch to the next rung. Also only 1 pair of hooks were in contact with the rungs. I had to drill new holes and move the bottom hooks down a couple of inches and move where the spring loaded hook was to make this work on my ladder. That said when I'd done this the ladder felt instantly sturdier and made getting to the gutters much easier and safer.

The item I received would seem to be an updated version going by the images used by the seller. Item received on time and well packaged. The unit comprises of a frame, joining plate [with safety device], fixing bolts and two legs with the rung hooks attached. The legs have two pairs of holes for attaching the joining plate and legs to the frame, use the top set and the safety clip is then easily fitted to a rung on the ladder. Unlike the image shown by the seller both rung hooks fit snugly onto the ladder rungs as shown in my image. Overall very pleased with the items build quality and stability when working at height to clear the guttering on my bungalow

Does the job, fantastic bit of kit. So 4 stars from me. Sadly it looses one star for not coming with instructions as it's flat packed and needs building. Where safety is paramount there should be no guess work putting it together. Thankfully using product images on here I managed to work it out.

Sturdy piece of kit which was easy to assemble. I added some pipe lagging to the wall supports to aid stability but not really required.
